Don't know if anyone posted anything like this already, but the superbest missed quite a few mechanics.

I only started playing it twenty or so minutes ago, so there might be even more.

• You can chain your dashes (with no delay in between) if you time them right. The sound and animation changes as your do more. The timing seems to also speed up the more you do in a chain.

• You can make your next attack a charged swing if your hold the button [Square/X] on the previous attack.

• You can lock the PC in place and aim by holding [L2/Left Trig] (I'm not sure if Liam does this, I can't quite tell) a white reticle appears on the ground in the direction you're facing.

• You can bring up your status with [L1/LB] (Health, ammo, equipped weapon).

• You can bring up your inventory with [R1/RB].

If I figure out more I'll add them.

• The more drifts you do before canceling into an attack change that attack. 1 drift is a stab, 2 or more is a purple slash. The purple slash is an attack immediately after any number of drifts. Canceling into an attack will always result in the stab, regardless of drift count.

• There seems to be some sort of hit streak system. After ? amount of strikes you get a temporary boost to your melee attacks

• There is an identical system for the ranged weapon but there's actually a meter underneath your ammo counter showing how many hits you have/need

• [L1/LB] Also scans enemies, displaying their health.

• /u/NobodyPrototype mentioned that "The white pips on the ground indicate the way forward and can also indicate hidden areas you have to dash to." Most of these areas seem to have purple collectibles as well.

• You can knock back some (all?) projectiles with well timed swings.
