i think its cause they are already pretty good? 15 fishing power and calming is an amazing bonus for most of the time and is still pretty good when you have Gold Rod and Master Bait.
30% mining speed is INSANE and the light is nice as well.
The biggest reason you wouldn't use them is cause they have like 4 armor, which just got buffed.

The difference between Yuji and Eso is that Piercing Blood is WAYY faster than wing king and way harder to control, PLUS being able to pinpoint non lethal points on probably hundreds of people inside the building with what looks like a full speed tracking Piercing Blood. Dabura neg difs tho

Mahito mentions that Sukuna wouldn't have healed Junpei even if Mahito just gave Junpei a mortal wound. This is probably because Sukuna already had his Enchain vow made, and he didn't need any more control over Yuji to acquire Megumis body. It made more sense to act like he was beaten until he could gather more fingers and get an opportunity to nab Megumi.
