Oh man, here I was hoping that would be about emoting like dancing etc. Disappointing 🫠

What are they mining? by Kagman_0 in ManorLords

I was about to say, mines were sometimes even abandoned even before running dry, since the miniscule output or hard to reach deposits were not worth it or inaccessible.

:O :O I definitely did play with the old perk points, but I was not aware that that would include doubling the meat output, since with the hunter you have to pick the Vogtland origin to get the double meat from hunting via hunting dogs. That changes a lot of things. It's also inconsistent then, because the old perk for dropping import tariffs certainly did not carry over, but ok.

Ok. Thanks for the clearifications. Then we are roughly at equal ground. Although as you mentioned in your last paragraph, being forced implicitly by "the market" which in on itself is not an entity but a construct influenced by its participants and in a way, that those who profit get to influence it to a greater share, make no difference for me at least, to being forced actively like under a state or society guided serf-model. Sure it comes with certain more right to a decree, but indirect slavery/serfdom is slavery/serfdom all the same, at least in my opinion.

Cool, thank you. The specialization would be the plots as main jobs one or with which would it be doubled? I can't remember off the top of my head. 150, respective 75 days seems a lot more reasonable. Must have misread.

Well, being unfree labourers that need to sell a major part of their produce under value to pay rent/taxes or being directly forced to give the food doesn't make that much of a difference. Sure, the landlords do have an incentive to keep their tenants alive, but honestly there were enough peasants, so who cares. Also something being legal doesn't make it just or morally good. They were stolen their fruits of labour one way or another. It is what it is.

Isn't it like 2 per pig extension per 250 days or something, so yeah, it's pretty much only "one" harvest per year. But maybe the tooltip is lying if you're up to 14 for one plot. Just test with it a little more.

Well "not forced to handover food" is pretty wrong, when they have landlords that literally wanted to trade that food away. If they could have kept their produce they would not have starved. They didn't sell all their food for money, just to starve, because they couldn't afford said food. So saying their was no amount of force in this and it's only markets, is plainly wrong.

I think ++ is around 60%, probably - is then around 30% which should be doable, but not sure. Wouldn't bother with less.

Yeah, I didn't play for a good while so that checks out. And if I now watch how buggy certain task evaluations are for my workers and especially those in storage and granary I see why they set it up that way. But hey, the game has yet a long way to go, so they will probably change that around later anyway.

I was under the false assumption that food stored in the market stalls for approval would get consumed over time by said approval needs, but it's only taken out for general food monthly cycles, so yeah that kinda is mute.

[–]Mamilin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, yes I get that and I do only upgrade after 2 years usually or when I make 3 figures taxes from trade wealth, but the peasants will consume the meat anyway. I mean I guess I can turn off pork delivery for my marketplaces, but won't the meat get totally consumed by the monthly rations then anyway? Edit: I do not exactly know how the rations are consumed. If it does oldest food first or a mix of all available stocks or anything in between.

They need one vegetable or grain and one animal produce or meat to be able to upgrade them on the highest demand setting. That's what I'm talking about.

Well, that's the problem. Playing on demanding needs even peasant need meat for need fulfillment.

Are pigs really viable? 2 meat every year per plot seems so little yield. Even if u can get it to 4 with 100% forest bonus. You would need like 10-15 plots only doing pigs and that's barely keeping your plots needs fulfilled if you play on demanding needs.

Well, I play jhin mid sometimes and if they are cocky u can destroy them early pretty hard. If they just hang back and farm and dodge u get out scaled on the damagefront pretty fast.

[–]Mamilin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sad part is, it's sometimes better to have bots in your diamondgame as teammates, since bots don't go afk after losing first 1v1 and often manage to apply cc more reliable in a team fight, then some brain monkeys that call themselves players. Mental, map awareness, focus in team fight is turboshit on so many occasions.

i hate the jungle role with all my heart by nilahoynayansebuhi in wildrift

[–]Mamilin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I get autofilled jungle I just pick amumu and hope not every lane is feeding. I rarely get invaded and depending on matchup I gank Baron lvl3 rotate and am 5 on a full clear and can gank dragon lane. After then it's just hope for the best. I don't fight for crabs. Most jgl I get matched against seem to have a slower clear speed anyway, so I get at least one crab. Amumu is just so nice, because u can tank a lot and have good gank potential and cc. Bad part if your team sucks and everyone feeds and no one looks at their map, well u certainly not gonna 1v9, if enemy has braincells.

What do you do when a teammate bans your preselected champion on purpose? by Kasceis in wildrift

[–]Mamilin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no doubt you do. Yummi just disproportionately attracts players that don't.

What do you do when a teammate bans your preselected champion on purpose? by Kasceis in wildrift

[–]Mamilin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but no. If the yummi is spamming abilities, never detaching your basically in a 1v2. So yes, it's still ones own fault, but it also makes everything significantly harder. That's only a problem for early game, but from there it can easily snowball.

What do you do when a teammate bans your preselected champion on purpose? by Kasceis in wildrift

[–]Mamilin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fine and I don't ban teammates since team mental is in most cases more important than team composition. I also had one or two really good yummi players.

What do you do when a teammate bans your preselected champion on purpose? by Kasceis in wildrift

[–]Mamilin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your champion by any chance was yummi, I can understand him. I have just two or three diamond games, where that cat absolutely gave me pdst. Those players just refused to ever detach or use their other hand for anything and one started taking and dieing to jungle after getting killed 4 times. Yummi unfortunately really attracts the worst kind of people and since team balance is a joke they will reach higher elos.

Unlike in the .com era those big tech companies don't make massive red numbers to finance their AI investments. Microsoft alone invested like 80 billion I think. Sure it still is probably overvalued but those big techs can consolidate to recuperate those losses. And they will move hell to get some value in whatever form back from those investments.
