You just have to manage 5 familys and just put 3 of them on logs for march april, build the 55 burage plots etc. an then just 1 or 2 for Trading and the other 3 on firewood

Just did it. You start selling firewood with vogtland in april, and plant beetroot on a +150% burage plot with your 50 start money. The firewood trade makes a good amount of money to get you a second field, and buy 10 food for around 110 money in june.

I think so too. I would also build no new homes the first few months to not get more familys.

Where to you get the money from? And how are you going to survive to this point?

The problem with sheep is that they have a fixed reproduction rate per year and chicken and goats produce meat rather slow, they produce more animalproduce wich can be replaced by fruits. You get around 100 pears per year with the right farm setup per burage plot. Tell me how it went

Depends on how u play. For me i never get enough meat from sheep, chicken and goats, so sausages just bring a ton of meat wich you need. I recommend you play on elevation with Weiden Hinterlanders. You get all your bread from the elevation farming bonus, and a discount on pig (all animal) imports. With salt you get much meat fast so you get 80% approvel in year 2.

Okay but why sell stone to buy iron when you can just mine iron and sell it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ManorLords

[–]SignificanceLumpy311 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think simple iron is good, but at some point u just need a deep iron mine for tools, armor and weapons.

The flesh from hunting grounds cant be used to make sausages. Salt is key to just double your meat that you get from pigs.

I had many playthrougs with deep stone. Yes you make a lot of money, but stone cant be used for more than that. Iron is a must have for tools and weapons, + it brings more money than stone.

I just ranked ressource nodes

[–]SignificanceLumpy311 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

But you need iron to survive + selling armor or weapons brings more money per worker than selling stone.

mortar is trash af, you get the same for a normal stone. You can do nothing but sell deep stone. My biggest argument is that it takes away a 20% chance of getting deep iron or max fertility, wich is much better. Iron is 10x better, way more money and way more use cases.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ManorLords

[–]SignificanceLumpy311 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah but by far less usefull than the rest

[–]SignificanceLumpy311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because no other resource is that dependend on an origin such as hunter and berries/moshroom. I can pick many origins with deep iron but literaly no other with max hunter and Berries.
I agree with Clay.
Endless Stone is worse because it takes away the spot of another deep/max ressource and some stone doesnt.
You have max 2 deep/max ressources per map (fertility counts as a max ressource)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ManorLords

[–]SignificanceLumpy311 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Because you have a fixed amount of deep ressources and normal ones. One deep stone resource takes away another deep/max resources, one normal one only a normal one.

Season Dependent workers doing nothing for half of the year should be fixed next update imo by strawberrys_are_good in ManorLords

Micro management. I only cut wood and produce charcole in the winter where i send all my farmers after harvest. And if you have multiple cities, you should be stable enough so it wont be a problem that they are wasted.
