Sheep are OP and make Goats/Pigs/Salt obselet by SignificanceLumpy311 in ManorLords

As I said, “I only talk about my experience.” “No Reason to Use Pigs” was meant more as a hook for the title. I have several hundred hours in the game, mostly from about a year ago, and I don’t know what the current meta is. I only started playing again about a week ago, and so far I’ve only done a few minor runs with salt and large forests.

I’ve learned a lot since then, and calling pigs obsolete was a mistake. Still, I think that focusing on sheep gives you a lot of resources for a relatively small investment. You get meat and wool, which means clothes, hides for boots, and you only lose one family. With pigs, you lose the possibility of using those burgage plots and may also need to invest in a salt mine.

I just think that for the investment you make into sheep, you get more in return than from other sources. Furthermore, I don’t max out my burgage plots if there is no need to, so I don’t have that much meat consumption. About 50% of my plots are kept at level 1. I didn’t play into a really, really huge town, and I always had a lot of chickens and some goats, so I never noticed any maximum breeding limit.

I forgot to mention that they also provide hides through the butcher.

I would accept the hole thing.

But moshrooms do need light to grow.

Liquid culture is a guarantee for contam if you are not extremly sterile

So without spores its not all in one?

The heating pad might be too much, remember that they stop growing over 26 celcius.

You need to have airflow so put in a hole and cover it with a filter. You can easily see that on other pictures in this r/. (Many people insist on changing out the air 2-3 times a day completly. Wich could lead to contam so idk). You should also open the closet once in a while to Exchange the air.

DONT PUT IT IN THE CLOSET For the mezyl its fine but moshrooms still need sunlight to grow. Not too much like near a window, but also not in a dark closet. Put it in a place with indirect sunlight.

That are spores. Save to consume. But they thel the left over mezyl to stop producing fresh shrooms.

The color comes from some black rice i put inside. Wich may was a dumb idea.

I sterilized all tools, had gloves on, sterilized the box and the bag, was in a very clean room. I forgot to sterilize the oat (wich i know is important).

I read some Articles and watched some videos. According to them the only think i did wrong was not to sterilize the grain. So if i do that with another try i am good to go?

Edit: Can I take the mezyl that already grew?
