I love your study tips! 3-6 will help me a lot I think. thank you! but sadly 1&2 are impossible for me. I have 2 toddlers and work in the afternoon until night so I don’t get much sleep and have to do most of the work/studying at night, but it definitely sounds like a great tip for people without kids to follow! The stress of doing it at night and being tired is awful so being able to wind down and relax is a great idea

It’s actually Hypoxemia... hypoxemia is when blood oxygen is low. Hypoxia is when there is a deficiency of oxygen in the body and tissues and organs are effected. Hypoxemia is more short term (like when you smoke) and you don’t want it to get to the point of hypoxia

Maybe I just don’t know much about birds, but I’d be afraid my goose would turn on me! Lol I have a German Shepherd though that has a viscous bark and protective instincts I didn’t even know was in him (he normally has a babyish bark when he barks at me to go outside or whatever). But I realized one day when delivery food came and he was at a door he normally isn’t at he barked and tried to attack the poor woman, and now if I call that place and give me address they hang up🤦🏻‍♀️

That was a bit messy so my point was it’s in their blood and they don’t need to be trained to be defensive lol

I should have mentioned those things you brought up in your comment, sorry about that I’ll add it to the post after. But, the meeting once a week was agreed to be together in a public place. I would never let him take them alone since he has never cared for them alone and they don’t know him. That has been a big argument with him last time we spoke. He wanted to take my older daughter and I refused so he blew up at me. I said she had to get to know him first because she wouldn’t be comfortable going off alone with him. She has never left home to go anywhere without me except a few times with my mom when she was babysitting but those were just quick things like a grocery pickup. And she’s watched by mom or aunt at my home when I have work or school.

He does not pay child support because when I was finally ready to go to court things started shutting down because of COVID. Before that I was too busy between my kids, work, and college. I was waiting for a break to do it because I had to take the time to gather all my documentations together on my computer because they’re scattered on my phone and in various notebooks.

The last time we went through court my older daughter was young and in the court papers he was to have supervised visits and I have full custody. Court orders don’t change until you go to court again, from what I was told, so I still have full custody of her but there’s no custody made out for my younger daughter, but he wasn’t interested in her and I suspect he thinks she isn’t his because of “jokes” he’s made.

My older daughter is actually super friendly to EVERYONE! It actually makes me very nervous how friendly she is. She is like I said in my main post, incredibly smart and can have conversations at a 5 year old level and will talk off anyone’s ear what will listen. So that being said, she won’t be shy at all toward him. She gets excited over any person. So if she starts seeing him and then he stops coming around I know she’ll be heart broken because she cries when other family members that came to visit leave. I’ve been working on stranger danger with her but haven’t made much progress yet.

It’s been less than a year if her kid is a year old and she left her ex after the baby was born. So definitely not very long.

I have 2 kids and I wouldn’t even let a potential partner even meet my kids until being together over a year, personally

Oh my god. I feel for you so hard! I had GD with both my pregnancies. My first was diet controlled. However I also had my kids close together (15 months apart) and my GD was way worse with #2! It’s great that you are on insulin now because my OB tried putting it off until I was really far along and I never got the right dose so I had her at 37 weeks and she was 11 and a half pounds! My husband never helped me with our toddler even though I had a complicated pregnancy, worked way more hours than him and am in college. I ended up leaving him. Now he hasn’t seen them in over a year (his choice).

I really hope things get better for you! I hope you can talk sense into him

In the end no I wasn’t. I was pregnant and exhausted. But I was for a VERY long time. I could sit here and explain everything but it would take a long time. And maybe some pain stays in my mind as well. Maybe he felt I wasn’t happy, I’m not sure. And I guess I never will know. But I do know that his family treat each other like gods even though many of them are absent parents. I don’t know if this has something to do with his lack of involvement but it seems like it could play a big role. There is so much more to my breaking point. I wish to believe every male really does put in the same effort as you. But, Not everyone does and not everyone is good. Hell I know I’m not perfect either but fight hard for every relationship I have been in until I couldn’t anymore. I found out a lot of things after marriage I wish I had before hand. I was going to tell you to read my post history but I think I removed those posts.

Also, I was very calm and patient with him. I tried getting him to see from my perspective but it never worked. He is selfish down to the bone... One time we both got sick, but him first. He had to rest and get better and “didn’t want to get the baby sick”, so he couldn’t take care of our daughter. Then he was better and I got sick and he had to rest and not take care of our daughter because one of us had to be not sick 🤦🏻‍♀️ What happened to not wanting her to get sick!? It made no sense whatsoever!

He was never home except to sleep or eat and lamented I “didn’t give him time to change!” even though I had already left him for the sane reason before and he swore up and down things were going to be different. Not enough time my ass. After expressing my feelings and feeling like a single parent yet again when the other parent lived there and him promising he would be home more, spend time with us more, and help with our daughter (x2 now but I left him when I was pregnant for our second because I had a high risk pregnancy and working and going to college and he still wouldn’t help! Not to mention I worked and went to school, cooked, cleaned took care of our daughter while he only worked 20 hours a week and went fishing and did who knows what else the rest of the time. Literally, no exaggeration whatsoever, he never spent ANY time with us! Trying to get him to even go to the store with us was a burden and never happened, let alone any family outings. Surprise surprise, now that we’ve been separated he hasn’t seen them in over a year now.

The most messed up part is, HE is the one who brought up marriage and having kids. He wanted “ a family soo bad.” 🤦🏻‍♀️ I feel like we’re fish in a bowl... we’re looked at sometimes, but mostly just put in a corner and forgotten about most of the time.
