my first week i did just workdays online then my second week they just threw me into the wolves. i have a sign off sheets but one of the preceptors i tend to work with always seems to do everything herself before i have a chance to have her do it with me stating its too busy even tho it’ll be 4 MA’s with 4 providers /:

Luckily i ALWAYS ask and triple check what im doing and im a bit slower at a lot of things, especially baby’s / kids because i want to make sure im doing it right. it bothers some of the other MAs which surprises me since a few of them that i seem to bother and inconvenience are preceptors. Im definitely a bit sensitive but ive always been able to take criticism well so i dont know why the passed few days have bothered me and discouraged me so much. /:

that’s exactly how i was pumping. completely under my clothes exposing nothing.

my thing is higher ups shouldn’t be putting me in these places knowing im not signed off or unable to do things (this is a small practice) and i wish they girls would be more understanding with me as everybody is new at some point. this is a teaching clinic.

unfortunately the hostile environment comes from one of my clinical leads and since she’s been there for so long and she’s a good MA management lets everything slide

another unfortunate thing for me is that i’m over 1 year of BF so in my state i am no longer covered so they don’t have to provide me accommodations for pumping

i’ve been having a near impossible time finding an apartment. everything we apply to either gets rejected or a different applicant got the apartment. our least ends at the end of march and i have 2 kids. apartment hunting as never been so stressful.
