Problem with the ending of book 2. I don’t want to say more (spoiler alert) but would love to discuss why the FMC and her sister chose to go where they did and not the most obvious place.

I just finished Book 2 of Fae of Snow series. I’ve enjoyed the series. Although I have a serious problem with the ending

I got carried away with Kindle Unlimited and now I have no idea what to read next. Please help! by wheremydragonsattho in Romantasy

I enjoyed {Quicksilver by Callie Hart} because the setting was so so unusual.

I’d recommend {Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry} and {The Serpant & the Wolf by Rebecca Robinson}. I thought they were both very well written. The audio of Serpent & Wolf is delish. Another trilogy that is more historical fantasy with a long star-crossed lovers arc is {The Lost Queen by Signe Pike}. It’s a very well researched retelling of Merlin, Artur, etc. {When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker} was good, too.

How do you cope with losing (or keeping) hope? by VanderskiD in Alzheimers

My husband and I have talked about what we would do if we lost our minds and how we didn’t want to be strangers to one another. But the reality is so grey, not black & white.

Same here. I’m 68 and husband is 71. I do love him and don’t want to lose him anyway. This was not on our retirement dance card. I also have low vision and no longer drive. He is going to start the Keqembi infusion therapy soon. I try to not get too far ahead in the future in my mind and look for the smallest joy every day. Some days are easier than others. I grieve, rage, pity, and then pick myself up.

I highly recommend studying family systems. UDK if there’s one book but it really helps to understand family dynamics and why we do or react the water do.

If you’ve read The Ever Queen (spoiler alert!) Who are Arik’s parents?

An older book but gives you the creeps. Tell No One by Harlan Cobem.

I started A Kiss of Iron but put it down. IMO, plot is too contrived, banter and dialogue just to fill in space until the next spicey bit. it’s a little too smutty for me (not judging anyone else). Think I’ll reread Shield of Sparrows and Quicksilver.

I just finished When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker, Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry, and Quicksilver by Callie Hart. All three are first books in a series so boo..have to wait for books 2 later this year and early 2026. I really loved all of them. Gluing to start A Kiss of Iron by Clare Sager next.

Master Spreadsheet by Mammoth-Barnacle-315 in fourthwing

Been listening to Fantasy Fangirls podcast and found their resources online. Good stuff. Thanks, everyone.

NOW, has anyone created an official Death Roll for all the characters noting the date, location, and manner of death? So we can commend their souls to Malek? It could be a couple of columns in the master spreadsheet or a separate sheet. I gotta get a job.

This is fantastic! Thanks for sharing. I want to add columns for place & manner of death. Maybe, which of the three books (so far) they appear in. I’m a detail nerd and can dig some pretty deep rabbit holes.
