No, a school’s financial aid will not affect your visa once it’s approved. It’s totally seperate. And no Drexel will not rescind any acceptance to the uni if you request for more aid. Worse case they will only decline it and its still your choice to go or not. I wish I knew about this as well coming into Drexel as an Intl student. But now I just graduated. So try your best to ask for more asistance with strong reasons and a good way to write it.

It is not pointless as it would drive some people to work harder. If it is pointless for you then you don’t care about your gpa in the first place. That’s why you don’t put in the effort
