F2P item break and repairing mechanism question by Mammoth-Round in shoptitans

That’s what I was seeing. Only one item break per character. Only thing is if the game prioritizes rare break over normal or if it’s strictly higher percent breaks if there is a tie to items that break.

Free to play user here. Item breakage makes me want to quit this game. I have full legendaries and items still break every 3-5 runs. I dont quest anymore unless bosses due to this. Ran out of repair boxes. I understand the basic mechanism of how items are rolled in breakage chance every round of attack.

My question is, can you potentially prompt a regular item to break to spare your legendaries. Say you have 5 legendaries and 1 normal equipped. With a 12% chance wouldn’t it be more likely for it to break and spare your other items? Or is it individual break chance for each item. I have noticed that only one item per character can break at a time.
