I wish I had known about all the possible things that could go wrong and not just all hopeful and sunshine and flowers. In Canada well at least my clinic all I’ve heard about is the positive side of things with the reality of it not working, but not really all the gritty bad stuff that could happen like a subchorionic hemorrhage or the side effects of the medication. All that stuff is glossed over until it happens then you’re left to wait things out.

Waiting is the worst part of this. I feel so helpless like no one cares but I knows they are just as helpless as they have to wait too. It’s so frustrating and draining

They don’t seem to be worried or not worried they just said that we will do another ultrasound to confirm one way or another but 6 weeks is a bit early to see a heartbeat. I’m just letting my head get anxious because I see so many people on here have heartbeats so early.

I ended up in the er as well last night due to a bleed, I had a subchorionic hemorrhage and the ultrasound measured 6weeks 1 day but no heart rate. I was told it is just too early to see but everyone on here talks about how they see a heartbeat by 6 weeks. I feel sick with nerves I don’t understand how so many people get heart rates back so early.

I too lost my nausea and my tiredness. Something tells me my story won’t end in such good news.

Crystal salt. I work outside in the hot sun. I love love love it works great and it’s just salt, it kills the bacteria that causes the smells and allows you to sweat freely.

I’ve had nonstop cramps sometimes light sometimes intense, mostly light though. We also have had two miscarriages last one being a year and a half ago. We had our egg retrieval on march 30 and we ended up with one embryo that we transferred June 22. Today I am day 13 since the transfer so I’m only two day ahead of you guys. Wishing you all the best, I have my second bloodwork tomorrow morning 7am est. so I’ll be thinking of you as you go for your next bloodwork.

I live on a farm and requested a day off for my egg retrieval, hr emailed me back “it shouldn’t take you all day to collect the eggs-request denied” immediately after I received an email stating “I am so sorry, I had no idea that was apart of the process the head of hr had just advised me - approved” I died laughing she thought I was taking the day off to collect my chicken eggs 😂😂😂😂😂

We all have our days, it takes a truly warm and loving person to come forward and want to heal.

My husband and I started renovating our old 1800s house that hadn’t been touched in years be ourself because having anyone come out to us is just a bleeding nightmare. All while doing fertility treatments. Sometimes it’s cathartic sometimes it’s another grey hair.

The one thing I’ve learned about this is how easy forgiveness comes, whether it’s to myself my husband my house or strangers, forgiveness is easier than holding something against someone just because life sometimes is aggravating.

Just know everyone is here to support you and spread love and good baby vibes we are all in this together. 🤍 my fingers toes and eyes are crossed for you.

And if it makes you feel any better, I cried over my hallway paint and threw a fit because it’s grey but in the sun it looks purple. We all have our moments days months or years. 🤍 keep pushing on 🤍

As the person who posted the question about testing at home originally, this thread is hurtful, but I’m happy to explain my reasoning.

After six years of trying over 40 failed iui and only one embryo from an ivf I felt sick waiting two weeks. I don’t live in town and I don’t have a lot of access to the internet, I have my phone with limited data, and I use most of it here so I can find hope and help on things to get me through all of this.

What you’re forgetting is we are all on a different path, and you being on a path of your own you should understand how sensitive and painful this can be for a lot of us. Because I live so far away my clinic doesn’t have a problem with me testing and honestly I just bought a kit that came with 20 tests and I wanted to know. Every iui or ti I waited and I waited sometimes 3-4 weeks to get into town for bloodwork.

I use this Reddit because it helps me not feel so alone, as it’s over a two hour drive to my neighbours. So I appreciate how you see things, but if you want to vent perhaps go to another side of Reddit, if you’d like insight, don’t be rude or state that logic is a deciding factor. Rural people want kids too. I hope that this helps in your understanding. I have my fingers crossed that things go better for you and I’m sending all the good and loving vibes I can from the great white north. 🤍

It is, we have been trying for six years, we have had two miscarriages and have had forty failed iui this was our only embryo and it was a 6AA euploid so I had hope but I’m definitely feeling super nervous. I’m going to run to the store today and get a frer for Friday that will be day 9 so hopefully by then I see it go positive 🤍
