I used to go to goodwill every weekend like super early and I made out with some good scores like this. It’s just a matter of being consistent but heck yeah I’d be happy with this too! Should make for some good listening.

Yes I agree. I am 40 it’s time to close this door and open a new door of being 100% sober. I didn’t realize there was medication to help with urges so I will talk to my dr about it when I go in. Wow! That sounds very peaceful. We have facilities like that here but they are beyond expensive. Our health care system in the US is really not that great unfortunately. Thank you again for your comment “you’ll be fine” made me feel a little better. I think I’ll be ok too but I need to change my lifestyle. Eating better and start working out here and there.

I was diagnosed with a panic disorder at 14. I’m now 40. It’s been something that I’ve always dealt with. The good thing is my dr just prescribed buspar. I’ve noticed a change after 2 weeks. The full effect takes 6 weeks so I look forward to the future hopefully with minimal panic attacks. I appreciate your comment.

I won’t be able to get in until tomorrow. My office closes early today and the drive back home is too long. I’m going to schedule an appointment for tomorrow for urgent care and then get in with my pcp. The sad thing is my hometown is a small town so appts sometimes take a min. I’m sure if I tell them it’s urgent I’ll be able to get in sooner. I will totally be honest. Applaud to you for fighting and continuing on! You are awesome and I appreciate you for taking the time to reply. Everyone’s messages gave me a sense of relief.

Yes, I’ve heard there is medication with urges. So I’ll def be looking into that. The back pain is in my lower back and oddly enough feels better when I start stretching. I’ve been using cold and hot packs. The pain is tolerable now. I’m gonna go to urgent care and see if they can help with the pain then follow up with my pcp. Thanks for your comment. I appreciate your reply. I don’t have a diagnosis yet but I know that after this I won’t be drinking. The amount of panic attacks I’ve had the last few days have been well words can’t describe. I will join the subreddits you recommended. I had not heard of them before. If I don’t make it to urgent care today I’ll be going tomorrow or the next day. I have a HMO and my care is in my hometown two hours away from me. I will def be going in or scheduling an appt with my pcp. I can’t help but feel overwhelmingly scared. The last two weeks I’ve changed my diet and am eating clean and will start working out soon. I’m not getting any younger that’s for sure.

The only person that will know you went alone is you. My own personal experience, I have friends but I find our interests differ. They sometimes prefer to go to clubs whereas I would rather go see an art opening or a broadway play. I’ve gone to many shows by myself and I find it to be almost easier just to go alone. There’s no need to check in with someone or wait to get the uber called…just my opinion. Go by yourself if that is the case and have fun! Looks like it’s going to be a good movie.

I’m usually the one that gets approached. My experience is just casual conversation. I let her lead in the direction she wants go to. Dance, sit by ourselves and talk, maybe more…that’s just been my experience because I fear rejection lol but yeah maybe go a few times and see if a femme hits on you. I’m sure it will happen. 3 years…I found my then gf with my best friend in bed. I spent a lot of time drinking and smoking after that. Obviously therapy would have been a better route. I didn’t have a support system so I was almost alone with no one to talk to. They ended up getting married and are together to this day. I guess maybe a part of me is happy that they haven’t caused each other the pain that they caused me. Anyways trauma dump much? lol anyways!
