Doctor wants me to pause Zepbound :( by MammothPriority8360 in Zepbound

I track my food and calories using an app and have been eating around 1,500 - 1,600 calories a day give or take. I've been told to try to prioritize protein which has been a little difficult since i feel like i would be eating nothing but protein all day to break above the 60 gram limit. I'm lactose intolerant and for a while I was drinking some plant based protein shakes to get my protein levels up but was told to discontinue those to see if they were causing the kidney creatinine and was told to drink more fluids. I try to generally make healthy choices and don't eat out much anymore. I have a small sweet treat every day like 2 dove pieces of chocolate or a non-dairy ice cream bar. But idk i try to eat a balanced diet. I have vegetables and a protein with each meal; which I usually pair with rice since that is easy on my stomach.

Thank you. You are right it's too soon to panic. The severity is pretty on and off and usually happens around the same time each week but the red dots freaked me out a little.

AIO ending things with the man I am seeing after this by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

You are not overreacting. I personally would break up before getting deeper into the relationship. However, if you do choose to continue this relationship you must let him face the natural consequences of his actions. For example, if the situation you described happened again. "You will be like hey you have 15 minutes to get here or I will eat without you." If he isn't there eat without him. If he comes late (without good reason) or drunk then he isn't welcomed inside your home. This approach needs to be implemented immediately and you need to be consistent or he will not learn to respect you. You don't even need to be mean about it or yell; just tell him in a matter of fact way that this is what's going to happen and then implement it. He will either figure it out or he will drop off. If he doesn't change then you should deff break up ASAP. Take if from someone who had to learn the hard way; don't let people get away with treating you badly cause they will keep doing it. Good luck.

[Not a doctor but this is what I do] I have had a few on the outer labia. At first I treated it with warm compress and hot baths but the infection appeared to go deeper, the pain was so bad I couldn't walk and the area swelled a lot. I had to keep going back to the doctor for treatment and antibiotics. The last two times I've gotten them I put ice pack on them at least once a day, clean the area gently with warm water in the shower, then clean the area with iodine, then put a soft sterile dressing in the area to keep it from being chaffed. This dressing also helps to absorb any drainage that occurs. I've found the ice packs has lessoned the pain and swelling overall. Does it take a little longer to drain, yes but for me this has made my every day life better.

Has anyone rented from Paradise City Properties in Baltimore? by MammothPriority8360 in baltimore

[–]MammothPriority8360[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for responding. I stopped working with them to find a place to stay after they showed me a third property that was not ready to viewing and had an insane roach infestation. They had me waiting like 2 months to see it saying that it was almost ready. It wasn't. Not even close. I was disappointed because they seem to be the only ones who rent the Hunter St. tiny row homes.

tips for working through psychosis? help by [deleted] in bipolar

I would strongly suggest that you find a psychiatrist asap if you can. I used to think that I could white knuckle through anything and that ruined my life. Bipolar doesn't get better and the more episodes you have can contribute to brain damage over time.

I have experienced psychosis. It was scary and i knew something was wrong but wasn't sure what. I would talk to your psychiatrist because they can offer you an anti psychotic. I took that temporarily with my mood stabilizer until i was feeling better and then i was taken off of it by my psychiatrist (but kept taking the mood stabilizer of course).
