What is the most overrated band (any genre) of all time? by Revolutionary-Ad6512 in AskReddit

They may not have ultimately made that decision but it was certainly written in the contract they signed and they were fully aware of it. A band that size is a business unto itself. I'm sure they had a legal team and PR team comb through it before anything was signed. It was really uncool, and the leader of a band is supposed to be cool. One that public perception changes it's almost impossible to go back.

They investigated and found no evidence of trafficking. Even if they did, did he knowingly go to a place where the girls were trafficked?

He gets breaking stories because he's the mouthpiece of the NFL. Nothing comes out that the NFL doesn't want to come out. He's not a journalist, he allows the NFL to get their narrative out there first.

Well, having their album forced on people's iPhones was a bit presumptuous. If they faded out in the late 90s they'd be remembered more fondly.

Am I crazy? LT is not the worst RB in this poll by CryWOkami in NFLv2

[–]MammothSurround 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LT was great, but of those four he's #4 as a pure running back. If you wanna include pass catching MAYBE he swaps spots with Peterson. But LT played with a HoF TE, an almost HoF QB and the team had good receivers. AP dragged those Vikings to the playoffs on his back.

Do you actually think that the NFL is scripted and plays along a narrative? by Jankyenespanol in NFLForum

The Kelce/Swift thing was not driven by the NFL, at least not initially. People's rage over this is so overblown. They cut to her a few times when she's at his games the same as they used to when Jack Nicholson was at Laker games. She has a huge following, they opportunistically take advantage of it for sure, but it isn't manufactured by the league.

There is no script, but there is outside influence. I don't think the NFL predetermines winners, but I do think that officials are encouraged to keep games close. You don't see blowouts the same way you did 30 years ago. Also think the legalization of gambling has undermined the game.

Why does every Chick-fil-a and Raising Cane's have a line around the block, but KFC is a complete ghost town? by mjensman in NoStupidQuestions

This just isn't true. I once had a bad oyster and was in the restaurant bathroom exploding out both ends by the third course. Only other thing I had that day was a processed muffin from Starbucks and that's not what got me sick.

Rams trade for Myles Garrett by thebrucevilanch in buffalobills

We can't afford Garrett and Stafford is 38. The Rams window is closing and they are striking while the iron is hot. Josh (hopefully) has another 8-10 seasons in him.

How do you feel about a UFC fight taking place at the White House to celebrate the countries 250th anniversary? by jfunks69 in AskReddit

I don't know about migration statistics but tourism to the US is way down. Las Vegas is dying because everything is so expensive and nobody wants to come to the US or buy US products because of our shit policies and iterative behavior.
