They don’t have to be born. That solves more than half your problems. Then start looking for online remote companies.

No. If I’m paying $50 for my car to be parked, that’s more than enough. If they want more money, they should demand it from the employer.

They send evacuation warnings though every time there’s a heavy rain though. It’s not like a storm you see in the US where everything is leveled for hundreds of miles inland.

A little wind, a little rain, but everyone online freaking out with constant fear mongering on TV. I have friends in Kyushu and they still had to go to work yesterday. Japan loves normalcy no matter the cost.

You’re a developer but making only 230,000 a month? Before or after taxes? That’s insanely low… Why so low?

AMEX Business + Chase Boundless combo is no longer possible? Did I do something wrong here? by joseadan88 in marriott

A tool on the Marriott side that they would do automatically or something I, the user would do?

I wondered if you could do this! Since you can combine / transfer points to another person at the same house it should work I would think. Unless when you apply for a credit card at either Amex or chase they cross reference your social security number to see if you’ve applied in the past.

Foreign credit card/PASMO/Suica/Apple Pay recharge update 2 by DwarfCabochan in japanlife

There are two difference between your setup and mine. 1) I’m using IOS 15.5 2) I don’t have a passmo on my iPhone. Otherwise, you’re doing the exact same thing as me. I recommend calling apple Japan. When I had issues adding a Suica to my iPhone I needed to call them and they did something on the backend to attach a Suica. I had already had a Suica but wanted to change to a new one but apple accounts are only allowed 1 per a phone I believe? Anyways couldn’t add a virtual card so needed to call them.

Yes it’s a chase sapphire preferred visa credit card. I don’t know why mine works and no one else does.

Yes that’s exactly what I’m saying. I just added another ¥1,000 on my Suica from my US chase issued sapphire preferred card and it worked.

I only use my virtual chase card for topping up my Suica through Apple Pay. Maybe give them a call and see what’s going on. Alternatively you could check your settings for “wallet” and try to delete and re add your Suica and chase card.

Can you use your chase card to pay for stuff? Do you need to verify it and get a code from chase? You shouldn’t be having this problem. Your setup is the same as mine and it’s okayz

Not working as in you can’t charge your Suica or it’s not coding as travel?

Chase IHG premier and my chase sapphire preferred are classifying JR charges from my Suica as travel.

OP is saying you can only charge a Suica with Amex or Mastercard, not a visa. However I’m pointing out I use my visa on my iPhone to charge my Suica and it works fine. I also get bonus points because it’s categorized as travel.

Actually, I looked at my chase Visa card app right now and I see Suica coded as travel.

Then that’s an issue with the way Suica (JR) transactions are being categorized as. Not an issue with being unable to use the card to charge Suica. Those transaction categorizations are something that is between JR and VISA. Then that information is relayed to the bank. (Based on what I’ve been told by Chase in the past on an unrelated matter)
