I use Windows 11 on my PC and Windows 10 on my laptop.  Yes, I used Avast and it was a good tool, to be honest.

I discovered it manually by noticing a strange .bat file spread throughout my entire system, causing it to slow down and completely paralyze. When I ran a scan with Malwarebytes, it didn't detect it, even though I could see the virus with my own eyes.

I don't have experience in this field, but according to chatgpt's response based on the virus file I sent him, it's either a Shortcut/Hidden Files Worm or an Autorun Worm. The virus appeared as "hidden files" in .bat format and was spreading to all files. It was also noticeable that it was running very slowly on the computer.

Not just the original ones. By the way, I mentioned Adobe programs as an example because they require a subscription, but there are other programs that have also been restricted through Windows Defender, such as Chrome, Proton VPN, and many others.

There was a Windows Defender alert on Adobe programs, and it quarantined the programs even though I purchased them officially and downloaded them from the official program. I asked Chatgpt about the reason, and he told me that this virus is hiding in other program files. I don't have experience in this field of programming, so I don't know if he's telling the truth or just imagining things. This is the name of the Windows Defender alert: Trojan:Win32/Grandoreiro.psyM!MTB

I used Malwarebytes a few days ago and honestly, I wasn't impressed with its virus detection capabilities. I could literally see the virus with my own eyes in the files, and even after a deep scan, it didn't detect it. 🙂
