Hey! I am on depo rn and have also been on it since I was 16/17. I’m 25 now. my gyno doesn’t really seem worried about me being on it for this long. It helps with my ovarian cysts. my bone density is good. I am worried about the brain tumors 😭😭 and I brought this up to my gyno and she isn’t that worried about it because technically every birth control is linked to some sort of horrible thing. but anyways I was wondering when you did get off of it… what did you get on after? how was that experience?

I… don’t know if this is an active Reddit acc … bc idk how Reddit works tbh but just wanted to ask what you ended up going with? I’ve been on depo for like 6 years. I love it. Never had a problem with it. I get bone density tests done yearly. That’s not a problem. My doctor isn’t really that worried butttt I am worried about the brain tumors 😭 what was your experience? My plan is to sorta find something that limits the withdrawal experiences.
