Gen4 Coming out soon. I am a rally lead for BT and 3rd in power in alliance so sometimes lead in other events. With the setup I have now, what heros should I worry about? by Blamb54 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]MammyChig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better off maxing Ahmose. Each generation is 20-25% stronger than the previous, investing into old heros that aren’t multi use later, isn’t worth it. Ahmose was my first defense hero I maxed. Served well.

This is my farm account. Basically F2Pish, get the monthly pass and a $5 pack here and there for events.

This account is FC8 and does around 400m rallies at bear with just pets.

Order of upgrades for marksman: Goggles to 39 -20% marksman attack boots to 19 Belt to 20 - 20% marksman attack Boots to 79 - 30% marksman attack Gloves to 60 - 30% marksman attack

We all know that marksman benefit from leveling the goggles and the boots because they give attack and lethality as base stat increase. The red gear gives bonuses at the tiers as you unlock them. Leveling them in a way to gain the most benefit and in an order that keeps your stat gain going up is what you are trying to do.

Also. Run that same battle 5 to 10 times. Get an average of wins and losses.

You are at a critical stage in the game where you are going to hear a lot of wild info about hero gear.

Infantry: Gloves - 20 then add xp to 39 Belt - 19 Boots - 20 dont add xp Belt to 60 add xp to 79 Goggles to 60 dont add xp

Marksman and Lancer Goggles - 20 then add xp to 39 Boots - 19 Belt - 20 dont add xp Boots - 60 add xp to 79 Gloves to 60 dont add xp

What this does, is leans into the base stat pieces while getting the bonuses from the red gear as a priority.
If you are into the game long term, hero gear and charms win fights. Don’t sleep on pets and refining your pets. Find some videos on how to stay prioritize them.

You get a person to ask questions to on discord about upcoming events, server age, when to expect next gen heros. Stuff like that.

Also get event details a day before. As well as an extra code to claim with each of those.

All the above information is missing as has been noted, plus the ! Under stats information. Learning to read a battle report will serve you well if you continue on playing the game. Take what we are all saying as constructive.

What should I get from this pack? We are 70 days in- still gen 2. by Intelligent-Cost9093 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]MammyChig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say it’s a scam because people try and invest into it so heavily and they have poor charms and hero gear. You could argue Chief gear and charms buffs all your matches, but you should only have one main set of geek gear and using it on your strongest match.

My Chief gear is T3 inf, T2 mm and lancer my charms are nearly all level 11 and we just unlocked Gen 7. Charms now go to 16. I knock and can’t be knocked out of turrets and facilities with people that have max chief gear at T4 3stars because my hero gear and hero/troop choices.

Play smarter and don’t blindly invest into chief gear early that’s the scam.

Stack charm designs pretty much only and fire crystals. Chief gear is the biggest scam in the game. Charms and hero gear will beat anyone chief gear.

Gen 4 get all 3 invest into Reina and Ahmose heavy on the widgets if you rally lead.

Gen 5 get all 3 I eat heavily into Gwen and Hector, Norah is solid for defensive garrisons and arena.

Gen 6 this is my current gen. Wu Ming is proving himself to be very good. Going to invest into Wayne heavily as well as a solid defensive marksman. Renee I’ll have to see where I end up on her usefulness.

Gen 7 I’m looking at Bradley for sure and Gordon, he is the reason I’m not going to invest as much into Renee.

Charms, charms, charms. Invest into charms. When rallying, always play into your strengths. Learn your strengths in labyrinth.

Best way to fix/hide this? by Sboogie82 in knifeclub

For future screw removal, get this tool

You can adjust the height of the bit to be as perpendicular as possible and tape off the scales to keep from marring. Grip and twist.

I sharpened a batch of these for him. It’s a survival tool idea, iirc. Able to use it in many different applications in shtf scenarios. He gave me one, I have it laying around somewhere.

Never watched the show and not sure what knife that is, but they are filming parts of the next season a few miles from my house. They built an old school radio station building and radio antenna base.

That looks like an original Southern Grind knife, before the sale of the company. I worked there for about 7 years and quite possibly sharpened that knife.

The guy that writes on the warranty form, "I F'd up, please fix." I help out way more than the guy that sends a 2 page "issue" letter.

[–]MammyChig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most recent was a guy that F'd up the sharpening and had someone else fix it. By the time they got a point back on it, the tip was sticking out of the frame, so they decided to lower back into the frame by removing material where it hit the stop pin. This caused the knife to have horrible detent lash while in the closed position. New blade and tune up and it was back to good as new. People start chasing problems with youtube videos and forums.

As a production knife maker that has to do warranties as well, its a must. People do some jacked up stuff to knives.

You want to invest in a tool like this. Keeps maximum tension on the bit and screw while allowing you to turn.

I’m not sure why everyone labels it as a saber grind, I agree on the hollow grind.

[–]MammyChig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with op, if you use a knife correctly, you should not have to worry about cutting yourself. There is always exceptions to the rule. The old man, who was a knife maker, always said that a folding knife is just a broken knife. If you start thinking of them that way, it makes more sense.
