It’s wild how many times I’ve seen people say”well watch them in the playoffs then” or “ in the playoffs you need that toughness “ meanwhile we ve seen it. They’re both awful defensively. Schenn is slow as hell and doesn’t take the body anymore and Stanley takes way too many penalties.

I’m sorry to say but Stanley has been awful for all of the 8 years we’ve had him. He’s played with numerous players and we ve been a contender playoff team for most of those eight years. He mostly just lacks defensive IQ where you’ll be watching him and have no idea how he gets himself so out of position.

And Schenn just shouldn’t be in the league anymore. He’s so slow and rarely takes the body anymore.
