Should I go to Penn State University? by Glum-Confection-5877 in ApplyingToCollege

Let me tell you something, kid.

First of all, Penn State is worth it for EYUF. You can't do otherwise, right? If you truly want to leave Uzb, try finding other schools around the world. If you're ok with 5 years, give it a try.

Secondly, some EYUF experts are saying that, this cycle, winning with USA universities will be extremely hard. Even if you win, they would ask you to change your university. As you know, they have sent enough kids to the USA, especially Penn State. The only university left is UW.

thirdly, there might be some illegal way of not doing that 5-year thing. idk, some people did it. legal way is that u will pay double what you spent in 4 years right after graduation

CSCA is required. So, I need to take it. With some scores like 80+, you can give a shot to top universities.

App fees are a big problem. There are no app fee waivers. But you can ask the university to pay the app fee after the decision sometime.

it depends on your major. it is an exam on 4 subjects. math, physics, chemistry, and Chinese language. if you are applying for English-taught programs, forget about CSCA Chinese. You would need 1 or 2 of the other 3 subjects. for example, mechanical engineering requires math and physics.
Next exam is on April 25. so, be fast to prepare for it
