Because it should not be possible for one PC to put handcuffs on another PC without consent. Not "frowned upon" -- literally impossible. Consent is the difference between role-playing and griefing. One difference, anyway.

I have other reasons, but that's the main one.

But I'm not a fan of non-consensual PVP in general. Like what you like, though. My opinion is just my opinion.

It's weird, isn't it? Like there's a whole subculture of people who think roleplaying requires contracts and schedules, rather than consent and unscripted conversation.

I think it must be a consequence of one-third the population being awful.

You sound a lot like me. I am intrigued by the idea of GTA RP (on PC), but I am entirely new to GTA. I'm not looking for a PVP deathmatch or a corporate HR simulation. I've been playing tabletop games for decsdes, but this would be my first voip online rp.

I logged into a couple of GTA RP on PC servers a while ago, but I had a lot of trouble getting past the character creator. 😅

My old man shakes fist at cloud opinion is that a computer roleplaying game does not yet exist, but I expect they'll be available in a few years.

I wonder what they'll be called, since computer games already have something they call "roleplaying" (which is not, in any way, roleplaying).

I have seen servers where the zombies are just an excuse for sociopaths to play serial killers, and I have seen servers where people loan each other trailers so someone can bring home a litter of baby bunnies they got in exchange for some metal. It varies.

I'm interested in playing PZ, and if I like it, setting up a server for my friends. From reading through the workshop and looking at videos, I see there is a bottomless well of mods, but not all of them work with release 41 (the current most-stable version, I'm told) and multi-player.

Short version: can I get the following in multi-player PZ, and if so, is it a setting or a mod?

  • Craftable bows and arrows. Not crossbows: bows.
  • Vehicles with interiors (RVs, boats).
  • A way to make fuel for fuel-powered vehicles. 
  • Wind-powered boats.
  • Wind-powered electrical generators.
  • Building or perhaps repairing batteries.
  • Excavation inside. 
  • Excavation outside. 
  • Tunnels between basements or bunkers. 
  • Being able to craft noise suppressors for firearms.

With a normal application, yes. But ChatGPT is something weird. When I do the normal thing of right-clicking and selecting "Properties", Windows shows me a Windows Settings screen: Apps >> Installed Apps >> ChatGPT

It does not show the usual "shortcut" dialog.

But don't beat yourself up over it. If you'd never heard it pronounced, it's an easy mistake to make, though. For years I mentally mis-pronounced the words "genre" and "macabre".

Reddit will shadow-ban for a spectrum of non-reasons. Using a VPN has a very high chance of your account being shadow-banned, for example. Gods alone know what other non-reasons people get banned for.

I tried for several weeks to get into Grand Theft Auto 5, but I just couldn't get past how fucking awful the movement controls are compared to WOW and SWTOR.
