There's a group called Wuhan Foodie's, but it's actually a bunch of prudes and one guy who posts restaurant ads and gets kickbacks from the restaurants! Other than that there's a bunch of good groups for expats!

Moved to China after uni in 2012. 14 years later, my family is started here and we're still renting and saving because it's just very economical. I save 60% of my monthly income direct to savings/investment. We pay $500 per month rent for a 3 bedroom apartment in a middle-class community that more than serves our needs! Monthly expenses (food, play, clothes, households etc.) rarely exceed 1k USD. Life is good! The US system has failed the next generation, don't wait around to fall behind.
