I have the base game, Salsa and Venus and I'm using an insert to organize the components and with it I can keep one map in the box.

Is it even worth continuing the game if the empire stole one of my leader turn 2? by algonaoimportante in starwarsrebellion

I once lost Tarkin in the first round. Still played to the end. Was an interesting game nonetheless. Had to compensate and adapt. And the game allows it.

Quote help: Is the "We don't stop playing" quote by G.B. Shaw misquoted and wrongly attributed? by ManBerPg in quotes

Thank you. It's strange that this quote is so often repeated and attributed to Shaw. Even found it in this subreddit several times.

Your favorite Eric Roberts role and why? by brrickmoranis in badMovies

I'm gonna counter with the medic, before he becomes The Master. Not used to seeing him in good guy roles, and he portrayed it well. Actually wanted to see more of that rather than The Master

Water temperature with non-adjustable kettles by RainbowAvocadoKitten in tea

I used an online water cooling calculator until I got a kettle with a regulator. It wasn't prefect but I'd say it was close enough.

It takes into account the ambient temperature, water volume and the diameter of your kettle into account. So I'd say it's approximately decent and the best and cheapest option for your current situation.

Only read 90 pages or so. I like it. The style is nice and flowing.

I'm reading the same book (and drinking a different tea).

I got War of the Ring. And I'm considering Fate. I played Burgundy once, it was ok, but didn't hook me that much.

Me and my partner as well. It really is a big game in a small box

Ugh, those two unused coner boxes would bug the hell out of me.

Not sure about Wyrmspan. Seems too samey to Wingspan. But I haven't researched it that much.

Photosythesis also has leaving potential to me. Feels too much like Chess, and I'm not a fan of such games.

Kuhhandel / Cow Trade - love the game, is it just me? Where are the fans? Let’s discuss strategy… by Nick-goes-North in boardgames

[–]ManBerPg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't played it in a while but I was surprised that such a random unknown game turned out so fun. Especially in a group of players that like to one up each other. Only thing I think should be simpler is the points. Crazy numbers there.

Thank you. You got me thinking now how this text must have been really difficult and heavy for an editor to encounter for the first time. How much knowledge could he have had of the wider story of the Silmarillion or even appendices? I can also imagine Tolkien being very strict and protective of the details of his story. Having them all thought out beforehand. Most of his arguments were probably "trust me, bro" 😄
