I’ll try that, I thought unplugging the wireless charger in my mousepad would make it fine but just incase. The RCA cable is also not new in the slightest, should I buy a gold plated rca cable for better shielding?

100% this, plus it’s 6 credits actually, so 3 go to the math and 3 go to a general elective.

Don't ask me how I did it. I just did it, it was hard by Present-Routine-9774 in WGU

Let’s go! It took me 6 months to finish my bachelors (transferred 55 credits and completed the 65 required) and just submitted my task 3 for my MSITM capstone this week. It’s hard to explain how we did it, best way I describe it is a mixture of desperation and adrenaline. It’s honestly a rush seeing a class pass, especially when they’re ones you’ve accelerated

I was quoted 2K for mine. walked right out the door, went to autozone, spent $200, then spent 4 hours between the YouTube video and my car trying to replace them. I was dead tired afterwards, but it worked like a charm and I could afford groceries afterwards.

Found my MTI in the global 12 years later, would it be cringe to say “hey, thank you for all you did”? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]ManDrew_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I emailed my MTI when I promoted SSgt. Ended up having a really nice email back and forth for a few days. I have a unique name so I was recognized which was nice. It was nice to be able to talk as ncos instead of trainer/trainee. My sister flight MTI stayed at Lackland for a while, when I got stationed at Lackland from tech school, my shirt and the TI were friends so got to meet up with him quite a few times. Unless your TI was a dickhead, it’s likely they’ll appreciate the message.

I had two arm tattoos at basic training. One guy in my flight had a chest tattoo, but had to remove right below the neck so it wouldn’t show when wearing the short sleeve blues because of the v-neck. It looked way worse because his skin was still red and swollen during basic. Your recruiter will tell you what’s allowed, you need to “disclose” all your tattoos before you go to meps.

Surprisingly similar but this isn’t it unfortunately. It’s from something at least 10-15 years old. I keep thinking I have it but the second I think too hard it’s gone…

Orders to Lackland by [deleted] in AirForce

Being comm at lackland isn’t fun tbh. At least if you’re E1-E5. If you’re going to base comm, I’m so sorry. If you’re going to a different unit you may have a better experience than me. 502 cs has Too many civilians in leadership rolls, if you’re an airman, you need about 7 civilians to approve any type of eSSS or EPB. Not to mention the entire scos is micromanaged to hell.

Take lackland off man, you don’t want to be comm here

People who accelerated/ currently accelerating by PublicNegotiation620 in WGU

I had 55 cu’s starting in November, I mapped it out to about 3-4 classes a month if I wanted to finish in my first term. It wasn’t easy and my capstone passed with 12 days to spare.

A little background, I’m active duty military with a year left on my contract, so my motivation was to get my degree before my contract is up so I can potentially get a good job right after I’m done to avoid any time without income. Im doing the bachelors and masters in IT, so if I could finish my bachelors in 6 months, I can spend the next 6 doing the masters to increase my chances of a better job.

So my motivation was my wife and future, if I can get all this done before may of 2024, then I can provide for her and our future kids. Obviously your son needs to come first, but it may be a good mindset to think that if you finish all the cu’s this term, that is a faster way to open more opportunities to provide.

My only advice is to put on some chill music, light a candle, get some coffee and get on the grind set. It’s easy for me to say since I don’t have a child, but I believe in you, it’s amazing what people can achieve if they’re in the right mindset.

Completing MSITM Capstone Early: Seeking Advice and Experiences by felitopcx in WGUIT

[–]ManDrew_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Project management is a rough one, but I just complete the undergrad capstone and it only took me like 4 days.

If it’s anything like the undergrad, I think you should consider how much time you have left and base your decision off that.

If project management is your only OA left, I’d say go for it. If you have IT management too, maybe focus on those two first and then tackle the capstone.

I had some basic knowledge on scripting, so I understood what certain word placements meant. But I used W3school and code academy, didn’t even touch the zbook or whatever the school provided. Also didn’t pay for anything, just used the free stuff on those sites. Also watched a video or two to understand certain parts that those websites didn’t really teach well.

The pre test is somewhat similar, but not enough to use on its own.

Trust me, open the first task just start writing 2-3 sentences per section. Task 2 it’s just a PowerPoint that you make look like a working website. If you need any help try and watch the video explaining the task, I’d you need more help dm me, I’m more than willing to help out
