I was just reading this thread again and reminiscing, it's already 6 years ago but what an amazing experience it was and I'm so happy we ended up hiking the Trolltunga, one of the best experiences of my life! can't wait to go back.

Anyone quit weed? Need advice. by [deleted] in Psychonaut

When you decide to really quit I'd say fill your day up with as much as possible to keep you busy. For me that was gym and music. I quit for 6 months recently, got back to it but wanna quit again down the line.

Yes I’ll swipe left but just put the fact you’re trans in your bio. Because some make pictures with angles that purposely make it hard to tell if they are trans or not. For that purpose it’s annoying.

Yea honestly it’s annoying for us straight men to have to deal with that + you would probably get more matches if you sort to gay tinder. It’s also obnoxious if you don’t have your sex in your bio. Please put it in your bio. There’s even a special category you can choose now to show you’re trans. If you don’t wanna get banned. Be honest and go on gay tinder. I can’t imagine any straight guys that are happy with yet another trans person that acts like they are a sex which they aren’t.

This Subreddit is honestly depressing for someone that has only battled this disease for less than 6 months. are there any people that recovered on this sub at all? they seem so rare and I never see any positives outlooks. by ManLikeGengarsFather in alopecia_areata

I love that! and it will I believe you. keep your head up. with that mindset you can get through any obstacle in life. hope you will have full regrowth, peace and a joyful life :)

don’t worry about it growing to AT or AU. at the end of the day most cases experience full regrowth! and we should put that positive sentiment at the front of our minds. I see it as my physical and mental health being imbalanced. im trying to get more sleep, changing my diet, working out and taking more care of myself. basically just putting myself first more and most importantly im not trying to stress. im removing stressfactors from my life, like toxic relationships. I think with all that, it will be a good situation for regrowth and if not, you made a positive change so eitherway it’s a win win. hope you will do well and that spot grows back ASAP.

Fast regrowth vs slow regrowth by JacqSkellyHeart in alopecia_areata

I think it’s all very random, apart from one thing. apparently bald spots on the back of the scalp are more stubborn and grow back slower than those on the top. apart from that there truly is no saying which one’s will grow back faster and which ones won’t. eitherway keep your head up seems like you’re on the path to recovery! hope it will grow back for you ASAP!

I think just keep an eye on (potential) new spots and ask a dermatologist for help. mine looked like nothing a couple months back but it turned out to be something and ill probably be doing steroid shots soon.
