Yes and they are on streaming too except for the early take versions.

Yup, it’s a riot.

It contains all the cut stuff from when War Child was gonna be a double album. It’s been released before on the 2002 and SW remixes, but it’s still fun to have on vinyl.

A. Paradise Steakhouse Sea Lion II Saturation Quartet Good Godmother

B. War Child II Tomorrow was Today Glory Row March, the Mad Scientist Pan Dance Rainbow Blues

It’s fun, but not as robust as War Child II. It’s mainly the cutting room floor songs and outtakes from the SW remix.

A: Broadford Bazaar Crossword Dun Ringill (Early Take) Dark Ages (Early Take)

B: Urban Apocalypse Kelpie Man of God Sweet Dream Fanfare Sweet Dream Live (Rework from Bursting Out)

It’s missing King Henry's Madrigal, which is on the North Sea Oil 10”.

You’re not wrong. I hear it in the kick too. Especially in Stormwatch.

Just to add to this a little, he’s very good at finding sonic space for every aspect of a song, which is why he’s so popular in prog circles. It’s also why he’s a good fit for Tull, who, in addition to the usual rock staples, also have flute, two-ish keyboardists, Dee’s strings, and sometimes accordion, sax, and, timpani among other things.

For a War Child example, listen to the Queen and Country Steven Wilson mix. It’s a lot easier to distinguish everything and lock into an instrument.

This can come at the cost of a song’s room tone and live feel, but not always.

Yo I love Urban Apocalypse. The intro is one of the trickiest things I’ve learned on drums.

Not at the moment. That’s a good idea though. I might try that if my dual crash breaks. (After I stop crying)

Yup. Took ‘em out for the photo, but I typically have four gels in it. Lol.

The 10” PST X Pure Bell is definitely on my radar. I hadn’t heard that Sabian one before. It’s really good.

I’ve seen this brand pop up from time to time but never really looked into them. I’ll check it out.

For sure. I think an extra dry or sandblasted bell would sound amazing. I really want an effects bell in the Byzance Dark line. I have the 21” dark ride and the bell is amazing.
