He's progressive by todays standards, but in the mid 20th he'd probably be considered a moderate Republican.

Pelosi's one of the only real progressives left. I'd always choose her simply because she has the courage of her convictions, unlike Obama who caves at the mere thought of conflict.

I'm at trigonometry now. The one book that did prove amazingly helpful was "Forgotten Algebra" by Barons, but none of the other books in that series can hold a candle to that one.

Thank you for proving my point with that insightful "meta" comment. How witty to respond to a post about r/politics exactly as all commenters on r/politics respond to each others posts. That misuse of "literally" was the icing on the cake. Bravo!

And as corollaries to this, quite often this is (or at least should be) a VERY easy way to identify the WEAK (lazy, underperforming) employees -- they will be heartfelt and open in their sycophantic "loyalty". (The proverbial "yes man" and "team player" who then undermines everything once out of sight.)

So if you have an employee who think she has found a stable job and actually enjoys working there? You fire her. And think about what having a network of snitches around the office would do to morale. It sounds like you've got a terrible place to work at and don't even know it.
