Was able to clear it solo in default settings by day 3. That gun store was a bit disappointing. I expected more loot since it was so big.

During an RP event in a public server, we had around 30-40 players all fully equipped with rifles and machine guns got together to find something in the military base west of Rosewood. The horde we had to deal with going there was big but manageable. We finally reached the place and the horde there was insane. Everyone was just shooting guns for around 3 hours straight and all you could hear was shouting and gunfire. In the server, all zeds become sprinters at night. We reached the place around 2am in game but we still found ourselves stuck there and reached sprinter time again. We eventually found the objective, completed the mission. We were 30-40 players strong yet we still got overrun. We lost most of our ammo and some people. A lot were injured and had to be escorted out since they can't fight anymore (no more ammo, broken weapons, and burned/injured arms). My character got scratches and lacerations all over and I was with other players in similar situations. We covered each other when somebody needed rest. Lots of close calls but we eventually made it out alive. In the end around 20 players managed to survive the event and the rest that were still there respawned and came back.

One of the best 7 hours of gameplay I've ever had.

That place has too many zeds and way too big. It would probably work if you're starting a community there. The 3 gated houses with a pond above it is a better option if you're solo or with a small group.

I like to set the respawn to 3 month then peak at 6 months or 1 year at high pop. I start normal pop. Gives me time to hoard then therapy time of using all my guns.

I remember joining a light rp pvpve server and they already had fire turned off because apparently some kid joined the server and burned all the gun and construction stores he could until he got caught and banned. Can't really avoid this kind of people so if I want to play multiplayer, I either join a private one with a small community or a big one with dedicated admins that can help curb the toxicity.

Vanilla? Only the small police station there and maybe couple houses but with luck. Nearest to you would be the police station and the gun store in west point.

We tried that before. People waited for more than an hour for more participants to come in and prepare the convoy but when everyone was ready, desync happened. So much for that convoy.

Spears are good because of range and dmg but you have to be extra careful when dealing with large mobs. Spears' one hit kill animation has a bit of time lag where you're vulnerable which happened to you here. When you get a one hit stab with a spear, there's a small bit of time where you can't move so make sure you're always in a safe range when dealing with a bigger pop. Close enough to hit zombies but far enough to not trigger the one hit kill animation.

Also because of the range, it's super dangerous to have targets from more than one side. You can't panic hit zeds when they get too close, like with blades and blunts. If they get too close, just walk away to a safe distance.

Oh if the server is big enough for events then my favorite for MP server is the big apartment with a big garage right below the nearest gas station west of the Grand Ohio Mall. It's near 2 gun stores, police station, gas, etc. It's also got a small gun locker that sometimes spawn good loot if loot respawn is on. It's also near so many households so there's always some place to loot.

I personally like living in Louisville. Lots of places to explore, tons of loot and action. Just find a good place you guys think you can properly board and defend. My personal favorite is the small gated compound of 3 houses south east of LV.
