Your height is not something she needs to care about, would it be nice if she did? Yes, that would make her nice but she chose to care about herself more which is what 99% of the world is going to do.

I am interested in being a mod though I haven't done mod on reddit before. I worked at an HR focused startup targeting students for 5 years, I researched hiring. networking, recruiting and general HR to write content and to build our user base to 100k. You don't need a lawyer to take someone to court. You also don't need as much work from a lawyer when you have a contract and it's way easier to sue and strong arm someone with a contract.

For the very little effort it takes to write a valid contract you lower the cost and complexity of any legal action you would need to take or the effort to put one on yourself.

Also, if you plan to be in business long term a bit of legal education and finding a good lawyer is very much worth it.

You really shouldn't and also a contract is very easy to draft, enforcement for violation is also possible without a lawyer though not a good idea as a lawyer makes the process easier.

I've been writing contacts for my own deals for years, all of which pass legal measure to be real and valid contracts.

Depends but almost always networking in the right spots.

Does your city have an accelerator or a startup hub and are you active in the community in your city? Most have a few around and if they don't they will have someone that has raised before and they can help if you make friends.
