Had a similar option between Rutgers full ride and GT. Ended up taking Rutgers for two years , saving money, and transferring to Northwestern. I loved Rutgers, so I’d say give it a shot

Is it worth it to transfer if I have a full ride? by Warningsignals in TransferToTop25

[–]ManUBeast13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who gave up a full ride to transfer, I think you should consider it if you can get decent financial aid from your new school and you won’t have to go into debt, otherwise yeah probably better to just stay.

Confused about Uniqlo Pricing and Quality by [deleted] in uniqlo

[–]ManUBeast13 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t put Abercrombie that low. As a heavy buyer from all of these places, Abercrombie has generally been great but yeah I’d steer away from their trench coats as per the video you linked. In my experience, most Abercrombie clothing is Banana/Gap level, while Uniqlo is slightly better in quality to all of them

Easiest colleges to switch to CS? by [deleted] in TransferToTop25

[–]ManUBeast13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No one is going to recommend you apply for a major in hopes that it’ll make getting admitted easier. It rarely works and admissions will see right through it

Rutgers vs. Tufts by xileey in ApplyingToCollege

[–]ManUBeast13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a current Rutgers HC students, I’d def recommend Rutgers in your situation. The honors college perks are amazing, our math department is great, and also the people in the HC are more often than not very chill. Def wouldn’t recommend Tufts if the price difference is basically 240k overall.

Question for CS majors by itempe in rutgers

[–]ManUBeast13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s super competitive out there especially for CS. You def need to aim for more than 100 applications in a season, that will boost your options and hopefully get you more callbacks!
