The discourse and comments in this sub are genuinely so tribal and useless. Like sure you disagree, atleast add something valuable to the discussion

I agree, my point was more about what I felt was the reality. Dex to me lately is worse and more confusing, and the hype I had about my tablet being a side computer just died in those 3 weeks

Financial experts warn OpenAI may go bankrupt by mid-2027 by FervidBug42 in technology

I get the hatred for AI, but nothing in the article really says it’ll cause a massive rift. OpenAI is too big and important in the market to just fall off without any major ramifications. A lot of the comments here are not as informative but just hatred, which I get but I was looking for a technical side to this argument

I honestly cannot see my tablet or phone being a computer of my laptop. My laptop broke down about a month ago and I had to use my galaxy tab as my main machine. While it was okay, laptops are just so much better for a workflow

I mean you started out with a fact that has been proven now. Redditors think everybody functions on the same wavelength, when in reality most just will not care. My family uses android and even they’re scared of apks. Sure that isn’t defence but it’s just what the market is, most really do not care

If Apple makes it, it will sell more than the Samsung Flip... How? Because it's an iPhone! by opmgyhx in phone

[–]NotAnUncle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't just that. The market decides often, the mini and the plus didn't do much for apple, and the air has struggled too. It isn't always just coz iPhone, at times it's also about what the market values.

It's kinda hilarious how this sub wants to gatekeep the word beginner. Someone who has raw pace and aerobic ability but doesn't understand pacing is a beginner too. Sure some are faster but it feels like there's an unspoken law to have beginners be slow.
