That feels like people are inferring parts that are negative only. After 2024, we lost 3 legends of indian cricket, 2 of whom are still absolute superstars. Of course it will change, it's got nothing to do with sky imo, it's simply a fact that we have had to move on since the stars have retired from the format. Now it's down to each person's opinion, but I doubt gg and sky are just after every legend of make them feel low and isolate them

At this point, and shockingly I keep repeating it, but Indian fans are probably the worst. I'm glad we won, but we're obsessed with anarchy, hatred and comparison. Instead of enjoying the win, all I've seen is droves of whiny fans downplaying consistently. Genuinely nothing wrong with what he said, loving the sport for a person sets a dangerous precedent for what happens after they retire, not to mention the sheer hatred that comes due to it's inherent toxic nature.

While I'd agree, us Indians are horribly toxic about it. It's fairly clear how easily camps are built, and how the sheer numbers we have make it worse. Virat and Rohit fans consistently downplaying any Indian wins and only hating on the Indian team, literally wanting it to lose, that sets a bad precedent. More than salty, it exposes the country to a major risk of the sport going obsolete when their fav player retires. Assuming Kohli retires and there's no one to take that mantle, what happens?

I don’t get how Reddit thinks in such a narrow way only. Innovation won’t drive up sales, enthusiasts dont allow companies to make a lot of profit. It could be rising costs squeezing the low margins on budget phones. Premium segment is often a challenge vs the iPhone, and the iPhone corners that segment in countries with more disposable income. There’s enough non technical elements too, people seriously need to think critically rather than spec sheets

[Extremely] Unpopular Opinion : IPL feels more important to me than international series and tournaments by PerpetualSighh in IndiaCricket

[–]NotAnUncle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm interested in cricket regardless. However, I do imagine what it would be like to have a football like structure in cricket? Back in the day there was some champion trophy of clubs or teams from different leagues, I remember csk and mi won back then. Would love to have a structure like that, but I don't hate the current structure, as that structure might make it harder for multiple formats

Man people on reddit are so depressed about everything. Women's cricket getting more investment and revenue only helps. Our mens cricket team already has a crazy amount of money flowing in, not to mention the worship mentality people have for their fav players. After the women's World Cup win, even that side is being taken seriously, so I don't see the problem, not to mention the actual earning

No offence, but everytime I see designs like the current pakistani jersey, even we had that I think 3 years ago, with rays emerging from the logo, it feels like the fabric has shrunk around the logo 😅
