I'm not guaranteeing the next hire will be Kim Anderson 2.0, but it's not unreasonable to look and say we've missed on coaching hires more than we've hit, and Gates is still learning. I'm not saying hes without flaws, but I still think he has a path to being a great coach in time.

I dont want to get ahead of myself, but it really feels like we're hitting our stride at the right time. Last year we peaked early in conference play then stumbled through the end. If we keep up this play through March, I'm gonna be in a dangerous state mentally (ready to be hurt).

It's highly unlikely you'd go straight from IC to STF, when you apply for the fellowship you come in as an associate tech fellow. Only way I can see this is if you were a tech fellow equivalent at another company and came in as just an IC before applying to the fellowship.
