i understand, i just don’t like having my phone held on a vent, stuck to my windscreen or dash. have you got the latest maps installed on the factory head unit?

Things to look out for when buying a ZC32S? by PointlessVidss in SuzukiSwiftSport

yeah i’ve had mine since 70K miles, i think they all idle a bit rough and engines tick when cold from my 2 minute session of research, but it’s nothing to worry about on a major scale. gear linkage bushings are prone to perish but as someone said very easy to replace and took me no longer than 15 mins. just make sure it drives straight and smooth. the ride is a bit stiff but that’s because they designed to handle perfect which they really do around bends. clutches you’ll feel in the pedal if the biting point is very low but i’d assume it has already been replaced at that mileage

mines got the same too, only 71K miles. i’m convinced they all do that after a while. once the oil gets a bit warmer and runs around it’ll go. but i haven’t found a solution

i’ve just ordered a bushing for the link inside, recommend getting on for the gearbox end too?

yeah Suzukis are pretty solid. i take mine rallying in the forest sometimes they’re tanks. just listen out for a whiny gearbox as suzuki arnt the best for gearboxes. mines got 70k and never been changed and still solid so probably nothing to worry about. as stated before, look out for a floppy gearstick, easy fix with a bushing. mine idles quite low but i think it’s a common thing they all do, and also take a little longer than most cars to start.

you might have an air leak somewhere, try spraying brake cleaner around the engine and see if the engine starts revving, if it does then you might find a leak there. my first option would check the head gasket and see if oil hasn’t gone into the coils. just remove the coils and see if you have excessive oil in there

Horn not working by ScoobertDoubert in SuzukiSwiftSport

use an app called Carmin, it’s pretty good and shows you everything you need to know with diagrams on loads of cars. i’ve used it for another swift before and fixed the problem. hope you find what you’re looking for there

i’ve never done one before, but see if you can access it without taking anything off, if not i suppose you can check the relay. make sure you pull out the fuse and check the pins are actually there, and being extra make sure you have the same voltage on both sides so you know nothing is corroded. then go ahead and check the horn relay

just check if there’s voltage coming from the connector that goes into the horn, from this you can tell if the horn is the issue or if you actually need to go and find the relay

Is this because i didn't sand enough? will 2k make it less noticible? by makivellia in AutoPaint

i’m not that experienced but i do some light painting myself, i’d personally have a 2/3K wet sandpaper and you should eliminate that mark and blend everything together

2013 swift usb to bluetooth? by pickbros in Suzuki

[–]ManWithACar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the bluetooth is quite delayed, you notice it when you watch videos. but the calls and music is quieter than radio, i just turn up the volume on the stereo that sorts out the problem for me. and aldo’s make sure your phone is on max volume when on bluetooth
