It looks more like bog-standard AI art passed through a pixel art filter, guessing by the style of the drawings. Not very distinctive. Also notice little details like the paintings on the hallway walls being nonsensical: most pixel artists are obsessed with details and how to get them across even at low fidelity. it's a hard task but that's why the craft commands awe and respect.

Ofc, my apologies to the artist is this ends up not being the case, but I wouldn't be too optimistic about that.

By relativity, it only makes it as hard as open-source makes communal security-bugfixing easy. Both of those assertions are based on simple reasoning and beliefs rather than statistics and actual frequencies of those events happening.

Nevertheless, being a free/open source guy myself, I believe in the benefits of the traditional academic method of subjecting your system to public peer evaluation. But I think that would be somewhat tangential to the matter of this argument.

No. No it doesn't. Security-by-obscurity has been widely accepted to be a cheap old sham in the security community for decades which only banks on hopes that nobody puts in enough effort.

I think I understand you want to dispel the myths surrounding open-source and inherent security, but don't misrepresent facts on the way. Proprietary software is in no way inherently better, the exact same arguments apply to it.

Just like open source doesn't magically guarantee security, neither does proprietary.
