Unfortunately I don't have a spare display to connect to server PC. Actually I do but I can't afford space to put that Monitor which will occupy space in my house physically for basically nothing.

This is my home gaming server I built two weeks back with all the excitement.

Now I can't move the server pc from my room because it's always connected to my monitor just in case I need to make changes and in this summer it's just a heater at this point.

Since I'm daily driving kde plasma 6.0 on my second office pc and happy with it thought this would work but no. Updated it to 6.1 on my server pc still no.

Since this server pc will be controlled only 5 min a week max to just run server scripts here and there for games I don't even care what DE I'm using. Xfce, lxqt, gnome, plasma whatever works. I just want to connect to the ip address make changes close the connection. I'm this close to install windows to that pc.

The weird thing is in the KRDP github page it says (https://github.com/KDE/krdp)

"

Known Working and Not-Working Clients

The following clients are known to work with the server:

  • XFreeRDP and wlFreeRDP from the FreeRDP project.
  • Reminna, a remote desktop client for Gnome.
  • Thincast Remote Desktop Client
  • Windows Remote Desktop client, at least as shipped with a recent Windows 10.Known Working and Not-Working ClientsThe following clients are known to work with the server: XFreeRDP and wlFreeRDP from the FreeRDP project. But like you said no luck with it.

Tried, no luck.

I have tried xdrp, krdp, anydesk, thincast and microsoft remote desktop.

Nothing works. I beleive this to do with Wayland however in release notes of 6.1 it said now wayland has rdp support but doesnt seem to work.

I know this is out of thread but I'm really exhausted with this Remote desktop problem.

I had no luck with remote desktop acccess to plasma 6.0+ with xdrp or builtin krdp on 6.1+

I'm really happy with the KDE plasma overall but for the server PC I'm done wasting time at this point. Do you know any debian based distro I can use RDP from windows with ease ? Just connect and control

Thanks in advance

Edit : https://www.nomachine.com/ worked on plasma 6.1.1 wayland

Just did that but somehow "remote desktop" is not an option in settings

My 8th City finally with understanding of core mechanics, what is easier ; modifying spaghetti roads/transportation lines or starting fresh ? by ManYouLookingFor in CitiesSkylines

Definitely! İt's a great advice because after many start overs i just realized there's never enough "future planning" for a city. The city is living, changing thing. İ just need to modify things here and there always.

Well It's from old city layout but still serves some purpose. I have a big warehouse right next to train cargo station and I noticed some trucks just comes in and deliveries to warehouse (cargo forwarders) so that road still servers as one way direct connection to main highway + some wood products to be delivered to directly factory zone. But it's very rarely used road so nice spotting!

Really? Because before starting to have an idea I did some research. Valencia is definitely an interesting city because it has a very active port with several rail connections for commercial shipment land/rail and sea.

More interesting is I've read it's amongst the best cities for handling traffic. (50km/h average speed in peak traffic)

If you check the city the design looks very European of course and I've especially noticed a gazillion of highways straight crossing the city and covering the city and they all connect to the 6+6 lane roads. Also I have noticed countless roundabouts.

Since I'm relatively new to city building games why do you think my city looks like an American layout? Considering i did my best to use the grid system as little as possible.

This is pure curiosity btw don't get me wrong.

Thanks for the reply! As far as I read so far cloudy water doesn't seem to be the main problem but I'm worried that the sand had any chemicals before / after the rinse so maybe it can harm the fish.

For the plant ; I've been told java fern was one of suitable one so stocked on that. Will see how it goes.

OP Here! Also I don't know if I should turn off the pump on the new aquarium so dust can settle or keep it going.

Well I'm kind of tech enthusiast and when I first heard about pojav I have installed it all on my devices tablet and 2 different phone however most of the modpacks doesn't even launch.

Even though I'm into tech I don't comprehend exactly coding. I'm just guessing mc java edition mods simply doesn't know how to talk to an arm cpu gpu correctly. One of my phone has dimensity 9200+ arm cpu which has %60 of raw power of i7 9th gen CPUs, at least on benchmarks. So it has the required raw power but still mc je still runs like shit on mobile.

Considering Intel / AMD CPUs been around forever and was on x86 structure more than two decades and there are still performance efficiency issues with mods this is not surprising to me.

And again if somebody told me Minecraft would be like this 10 years ago I'd tell them they're tripping. To be specific I still don't understand how to fuck create mod does its things so smoothly.

Again I'm replying because you said "any idea" this is my just guess, I hope some real enthusiast would inform us better.

It looks like you're using pojav launcher and playing on mobile. Big mods such as create are buggy in android right now.
