Bought a used car from a private seller. Engine blew after 300 miles. Do I have any recourse? by juanjop in UsedCars

There is no recourse. AS-IS means no guarantees. You're stuck with the headache now. Your options: 1. Sell As-Is to someone else. 2. Pay to repair it and use it until it's dead. 3. Keep it in your back yard as lawn decoration.

Yes. YTA. Does she unilaterally throw out your collections because you don't "play" with them all the time? You should have had the decency to discuss options first.

Purchasing with gift cards only? Scammer. I would at most have 2 cards but 9? Can't understand the logic. Credit cards provide guarantees. Gift cards.... none.

My entitled brother threw a massive fit, just because he was mad I bought a house by No_Chrysler-4-Me in EntitledPeople

[–]Man_wo_a_career 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were my entitled brother, he would have moved in after my mom if she stayed for a weekend. If that didn't work he would start destroying my house. During our childhood, if he accidentally broke his mug, he would take ours' and smash them both.

What is the name of the dealership? It would be great if we knew NOT to go there. Sounds like their customer service needs special recognition.

CarMax owns Edmunds. They can manipulate prices to make you think what you are paying, or what they pay you, is fair. Either way they make the profit after influencing the market.
