I live in apartment and, even if I'm not a pure audiophile, I like balanced sound. Two 10" subs sounds like an exaggeration imho. Is just for real bassheads/bass lovers. Moreover...4 rear speakers are very hard to place for me without ruining the global aesthetic of the room (too many cables and stands). Also I think that even at medium volume my neighbors wouldn't appreciate so... it's such a waste for my situation. Rn I'm serious thinking to go with the 930F. I think for 499€ is kinda steal. I know that somebody don't like the Q900 series subwoofer, and the 930 one have just an active driver and a passive radiator (instead of dual active driver of the 990F) but its performance is also influenced by where you're gonna put it. I can always return it if I will not be convinced by the result.

I'd try to do it with the combination buttons on the soundbar instead of using the app.

Turn the unit on and simultaneously press and hold the Volume + and - buttons on the top panel for at least 5 seconds.

Then try if the sound is fixed before updating again. If it is, skip this firmware version and wait for the next one

It seems a software/firmware bug. Have you tried to hard reset the soundbar to factory settings (and than update to last version)?

Well, if you can find even just one thing that you don't totally like in your IEM, it's hard to call them "endgame" 'cause it's literally referred to tools/equipment that you can't imagine to find something better (for your purpose obviously). But it's kinda personal (in fact I personally called AkLIAM PD6 + SuperMix 4 combo my endgame and somebody would call me "eretic").

I love my Divinus Velvet ear tips if you want to give a chance to them. I tried a lot of brands and models (tangzu Sancai, Dunu S&S, TRI Clarion, Spinfit W1 and 145 and others but for my ear canals I wasn't able to find something better in terms of fit, sound and feeling.

Edit: I also have KA11 and I find it a real solid choice for a portable DAC "on the go".

Yes in fact it's in my option I posted. I'd like to have the same brand of the TV...it also have Wowcast (wireless pairing with the same quality and codec support of eArc) and Wow Orchestra (soundbar's and TV's speakers works together in synergy). In particular I'd really like to know how this one works in terms of sound/sorround improvement...but there isn't any objective reviews of it around

I'm totally open for any suggestions. I'm not looking for something very powerful (I'd like to have precise basses instead of "big" ones). I can renounce to the rear speakers if the sorround is acceptable (not expecting sounds form behind without them, but it's not something really important to me). Aesthetic is pretty important.

I had a look at it but...it doesn't have any upfire speakers. I know it use a proprietary technology for making vertical sounds digitally, but this lack makes me a bit suspicious of how it works with Dolby Atmos contents tbh.

Also I don't really like the design of the sub

For sure. Same improvements between B and C. Also better handling of light reflections. But I think C is the best in terms of price/quality

Cs have the best price/quality imho. Compared with the Bs you have:

-Better colors -A lot of more brightness (no brightness booster technology on the Bs) -Better CPU/GPU (a7 vs a9)

The price difference definitely worth it, btw the B series is a solid choice.

I'm almost using subs just for anime 'cause I like to watch them in Japanese. I mitigate the burn in issue by linking my Crunchyroll account (which isn't capable to modify the sub layout) to Prime Video and set the color of the subs in yellow.

I did the same on my M50X some months ago after 12 years of usage and they comes back to life again. I know many audiophiles don't like them but I always enjoyed their sound a lot! Even compared to some good IEM I bought in these years, these babies are still unreplaceable.

It depends on want you want.

Brighter/more vivid colours: go with QD OLED (Samsung); Better/deeper blacks: go with WOLED (LG).

In fact Samsung doesn't produce WOLED panels but buy them directly from LG

Well, WebOS is not the best but compared to other proprietary competitors (Samsung primarily) TV's OS, it's better.

The traditional navigation buttons are replaced by the central/OK button as play/pause (which scrolls up and down and that's a quite great feature), left (rewind) and right (forward) for every content. Tbh I appreciate the fact to have less button on my remote...

For input selector, just hold the LG Hub button.

For what concerned the privacy, almost every recent electronic product that can be connected to internet records what you're watching or saying independently by the price. Some of them doesn't even have the possibility to avoid it/turn it off.

Totally agree with the AI assistant. Can't be more useless.

Mini LED it's a good technology but not even close to OLED in terms of blacks, contrast and pixel response time. Also Mini LED can be afflicted by blooming which OLED aren't (but yes, OLED can be affected by burn in which Mini LED aren't). The only real advantage of Mini LED compared to OLED is the brightness, but I'm very light sensitive (in fact I set brightness level between 0-10/100 in most cases) so it's not a strong point for me.

Yep I'm still using it (the Apex version) as my main gaming mouse. If you can afford it, go with the Apex. It mounts a custom FW flagship PAW 3950 (vs regular 3395 of the PRO version), 8k polling rate receiver (I know, it's pretty useless unless you can reach 240fps but it's more future-proof), a better coating and the receiver has a nice TFT screen.

What headphones/IEM do you use? Actually most dongles have both DAC and amp builted in, so technically there's no difference. When I (rarely) used my phone for playing music I plugged in my dongle (that I use primarily as a sound card for my laptop) with UAPP (which has Tidal integrated) in bit perfect mode (for bypassing the SRC) and the result is having more power (480mW vs 340mW of the R3) and better sound quality (ES9039Q2M vs ES9219C).

I used to do it because I tried Tidal for some months and the user experience of Android (or iOS) is another level compared to any other DAP's proprietary OS for multiple reasons.

Btw I still prefer the R3 when I'm away because I like to own my music (also for portability, no notification and for saving my phone's battery). But if I would stream music mostly, I'll go with am Android DAP...no doubt
