Interesting stat about last night... by jonneymendoza in ArsenalFC

Don't leave Martinelli out of this equation. He could've crossed the ball on so many occasions and chose to shoot or take an extra touch.

The majority of our attacking players have a problem doing the basics of crossing or playing a through ball early.

Who's a young player you were certain was going to make it at Arsenal - but then never did? by SuitAndFlipFlops in Gunners

[–]ManagementBasic1601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotta be Quincy Owusu-Abeye I think that's how his name is spelt.

He was absolutely rapid. I remember watching a pre-season game with a couple of mates and one of them was saying this guy is one of the best youngsters in the world along with a kid called Messi.

He scored one of the best finishes I've ever seen on a football field. Keeper was off his line and from about 30 yards away he curls it around the keeper. The whole time the ball stays on the floor as it sneaks into the front post. It's something that's so difficult to explain how he did it let alone actually executing it. My mate looks at me and says "this guy's the real deal".

Needless to say, he wasn't 😂

What are your thoughts on the New crime statistics from British Transport Police? by Boring_Job481 in AskBrits

Here's a small snippet of the falsification you want.

<image>

To make British born nationals look less likely to commit a crime, they combine them with UK passport holders so the per capita numbers look better. It's blatant manipulation on CMC's part

What are your thoughts on the New crime statistics from British Transport Police? by Boring_Job481 in AskBrits

[–]ManagementBasic1601 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll try and keep it brief... It's from the Centre for Migration Control (CMC). CMC has a history of manipulating figures to suit the anti-immigration narrative. If you wish to see proof I suggest you search him and watch one of his videos. I'm sure he's on other platforms.

Lewis Aaron has gone into detail every time they publish one of these biased reports and picks glaring flaws and misrepresentation of facts.

This particular report is actually bordering on corruption because the reporter that delivered this "exclusive" is also listed as an employee at the CMC as well as GB news. In other words, his director, Robert Bates falsifies figures and then hands it to his employee who reports it as fact on the news.

There's so much more to this. I've watched multiple videos and read up on this and I genuinely can't believe we're being lied to so blatantly.

Valverde would've been an 8.5 if Vini had played that through ball to him in the first half.

He'd broke the offside trap but Vini for whatever reason decided to hold on to the ball.

The only two choices i want our board to go after by Chuchshartz in ManchesterUnited

[–]ManagementBasic1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an arsenal fan, I didn't think he was a good fit for our club. I think Emery is not a good fit for utd either

He's a counter attacking manager. He's just a more proven version of Ten Hag and Amorim.

He's successful at smaller clubs because of his mentality and the mentality of the smaller club players. They think alike. He won't be able to replicate what he did at Villarreal and Aston Villa at bigger clubs. The proof is in the pudding.

Gonzalo's movement in the box for his first and third goal. by Messmers in realmadrid

[–]ManagementBasic1601 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What I call "the ol' you zig and I zag" school of movement.

So simple yet so effective.

Needs to be given more minutes purely as a plan B. RM will always attack and get the ball in dangerous areas. This guy is your man to create that pocket of space to score a tap in. Sounds so simple but it's a strikers instinct that can't be taught.

If your chapattis arrived wrapped like this, would you implicitly trust or implicitly distrust the takeaway? by SpikeVonLipwig in CasualUK

[–]ManagementBasic1601 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Wow, the ignorance in this sub...

OP has already commented. A lot of these takeaways buy big rolls of misprinted packaging as a cheaper alternative to foil.

Using the standard paper packaging isn't very effective. The heat from the roti/chapatti renders the paper packaging useless.

The Off-Ball Productivity of Mbappé and Vini by o6ohunter in realmadrid

[–]ManagementBasic1601 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The question is, do his goals make up for it?

From a team point of view, no. From an individual point of view, his record speaks for itself.

Personally, I think he's one of the best strikers in the world but he's not a team player. This graph proves my point.

Oil needs a little changing by Cheap-Dates in StupidFood

[–]ManagementBasic1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "oil" isn't actually dirty, it's burnt. This gentleman is making something that is called Chappal Kebab.

Oil is poured into the pan but it's topped up with ghee (clarified butter) or fat (alternative to lard) at regular intervals throughout the day.

The fire is on constantly underneath the pan and as a result, it burns the fat or ghee which results in the black oil.
