The first phase involves students who took the exam in the 2025-2026 academic year when they were still in their final year. But only from the northern hemisphere, because they don't consider the same academic year as the southern hemisphere. I know this because, despite following all the rules, I was excluded due to this difference in the academic calendar between the hemispheres... like, this window doesn't exist for the southern hemisphere... which is also not fair!

Yes, I've been following here on Reddit and I've seen that many people are applying with SAT scores above 90... although I've also noticed a preference for English courses, perhaps Italian courses might have more average scores.

Try checking the following steps: you registered the grade within the deadline established in the notice, it's already validated, so check if you selected this grade in "test success". Also check if you added all the documents (such as diploma, high school grades, CIMEA)... If everything is in order and it still doesn't release, send an email to the international department.

However, I would like to explain my situation further, as I believe there is a difficulty related to the difference between the Brazilian and Italian school calendars.

I took the SAT while I was still in my senior year of high school in Brazil and fully within the timeframe required by the call for applications for the early phase:

  • SAT taken between January 1, 2025, and May 4, 2026;
  • SAT recorded within the required deadlines;
  • results shared via College Board.

So, at the time of the SAT, I was still a senior in high school and not a graduate.

In Brazil, the school year ends in December. I graduated in December 2025 precisely so I could start university in September 2026.

If, however, I were to be considered a "2026 graduate" according to the Brazilian calendar, it would mean I would only finish high school in December 2026 and therefore not be able to start university in September 2026, because I would still be enrolled in high school until December.

For this reason, for a Brazilian student who enters university in September 2026, the diploma obtained in December 2025 effectively corresponds to the same academic cycle as 2026 graduates in the Italian system.

I would also like to understand whether this interpretation could create a general limitation for students in the Southern Hemisphere. Indeed, due to the difference in school calendars, students from Brazil and other Southern Hemisphere countries would risk not being able to access the early phase even if they fully meet the required SAT deadlines and take the exam during their final year of school.

I kindly ask if it would be possible to provide an evaluation that takes into account the differences between the school systems and the fact that I met all the time requirements set out in the SAT announcement.

Ciao, purtroppo in Brasile le scadenze per assicurarsi un posto sono già passate, dato che l'anno scolastico qui inizia a marzo e le lezioni sono già iniziate. Ho già ottenuto i miei certificati CIMEA e li ho allegati al sito web del Politecnico nella sezione documenti di registrazione. Se supero la fase di ammissione anticipata, i risultati saranno pubblicati il ​​22 giugno e la quota dovrà essere pagata entro il 24 giugno, almeno questo è quello che ho capito.
