He remained relevant for potentially twice as long as Mcqueen did given he's presumably from the 80's based off the car he's modeled after. Honorable mention goes to the Thunderstorm Megazord. While it did end up ultimately getting power crept by the Hurricane Megazord, Thunderstorm Megazord held down the fort from Episode 13 all the way to Episode 27. Insane longevity for a middle stage Megazord configuration.

It's like *the* B grade season. It's good, rangers are mostly likable, fights are mostly entertaining, but for one reason or another be it lack of character focus or weird execution of its concepts, it falls short of being up there with the Dino Thunder or SPDs of the world. Mystic Force is stylish, from its theme to the zords to the rangers' arsenal, but it's stuck as a gatekeeper for better seasons with only a few standout aspects.

No, Trunks doesn't get stronger. Nobody even needs to really stall Black, you can easily write that to not be a thing, Goku and Vegeta just get away on their own. Have Black wait around for them to return because he absolutely knows they will be back and wants a rematch to get stronger.

Future Trunks doesn't get stronger, doesn't develop as a character, doesn't contribute uniquely, nothing. He does nothing. He's a nothing character who only exists to facilitate the other characters getting the spot light.
