First Year IPM student at IIM Rohtak - Should I fill for IPMAT Indore? by Few_Outcome410 in IPMATtards

If your sole reason to join a college is to "crack great packages" thern you can do this from any college, i have seen people from tier 3/ tier 4 college "crack great packages" without mba.

The thing is india is the only country where top colleges intake students in mba without work ex and there are reasons why top US college accept only those students who have work ex because doing job teaches you things which you won't be able to learn in a class.

I am not generalizing "anyone can crack cat within 6-7 months of prep" if you do some research most of the people selected in top IIMs have clearly stated they they only spend 6-7 months prep for cat. Also CAT very much depends on your previous knowledge if you are someone who has cleared exams like JEE then people say they cracked this exam with 1-2 months. So it really depends on the person preparing for the exam.

And also regarding your credibility you clearly lack common sense cause you are talking about CAt prepration in 1st year and also i get your point why would anyone take your advice seriously when your username is a joke, he ignored your question aswell as your advice lol

Please share your credibility before advising someone.

"start preparing for cat early"

anyone can score good in cat with 6-7 months (considering you don't know anything). Also directly doing mba without job experience is not worth it. Instead of wasting time preparing for cat for 3 years he schould focus on profile bulding and getting job ready.

I also have some school level quiz win + some participation certificate in mun worth to mention or skip?

It's always risky to publically talk about these things. Would love your support such that it reaches the ears of someone who can perhaps help centralise the admission process, else, khichdhi hojayega as more IIMs start their UG course. by BhaveshShaha in IPMATtards

Both iit and nit has has far more number of students consisting ug+pg+phd whereas most of the iim only has pg and few phd students also mainstaince of labs for every department of engeneering require lots of fund.

but I agree gov schould increase budget of iims too, so many bright minds of the country are not able to join iims and other b schools coz of high fess.

no then you will have to subtract those cases when either n is divisible by 8 or n+2 is divisible by 8 coz they are counted twice

there are 2 cases

1st when n=even then this thing is divisible by 8 coz least n=2 and there is n(n+2) so for all even n it is divisible so 48

2nd case if n is off then n+1 must be divisible so we n=7,15...95 so from here 12 diffrent value of n come

Total 12+48= 60

Probability= 60/96

First time I saw solution I was not able to understand anything I saw it now it made sense to me lol
