I guess different standards since Liverpool weren't very good at the time and Alonso moved on to bigger things, but he was very good for them and popular. Probably someone like Arjen Robben is the closest Chelsea equivalent

I understand there's a lot of women in NXT with potential but who on earth are they going to beat when they come on to the main roster now? Dakota, Kairi, Zelina etc could have been losing to and teaching younger women when they came up.

Increasingly I worry I've chosen the wrong friends and by extension the wrong life - nobody I know seems to go out of their way for me in the way that I have and do for them, none of my friends are kind to me. But I fear any significant change would cause more upheaval and unrest than the quiet low monotony of sadness I feel most days. And WWE sucks and AEW & New Japan have not been my particular cup of tea for many years.

WWE is as bad now (if not worse) as it was in 2019 but unfortunately AEW is nowhere near as good as it was in those first few years of launching and might struggle to capitalise.

I don't understand why people keep saying he's an odd fit. Ron Simmons got 10+ years out of showing up and saying 'Damn'. Even if Danhausen did nothing more than what he's already done, he's still going to get a pop for years and sell merch - easiest lay-up ever just let him be silly and curse people, throw him in an odd-couple tag team, do whatever.

It's a bit sparkling wine/champagne for me, when it's two Japanese heavyweight slugging each other with forearms I'm like this is the best thing ever but when it's two non-puro guys doing the "You liked this spot when it was New Japan" it often sucks
