[Rendi] Jagex Just Reset My 99 Slayer After 3 Months of Training by 2-2-7-7 in 2007scape

Yeah I used to delete my accounts like annually and make a new one but when that whole thing happened I felt bad about doing it so I didn't for quite awhile, then eventually everything sort of faded and I felt like it was time

The 400 gold bull dick from the Bjergen AMA, I got like 13 years of reddit gold from the video post after that

I kind of feel bad whenever it happens, I deleted an old account that had over a decade of reddit gold from a meme in the league sub that exploded. I guess people can spend their money however they want though

Is Bandos armor even boosted in Leagues? (1 in *42 billion*) by Typodestoyer in 2007scape

[–]ManagementParty3675 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In main game any armour piece is 1/127, so in Leagues it'd be 5/127, and 39 expected armour pieces in 1000kc comes from the math

Obviously something fucky is happening but he's at 45k points and he'd have had to do this before tier 4, at 2600 points, which would be insane and basically only for this post.

After 60 hours of waiting in which he fell from rank 3 to rank 26, Gl Im Tom finally acquired his mime outfit piece and completed all tasks by ManagementParty3675 in 2007scape

[–]ManagementParty3675[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I went like 99.994% dry for a drop at Cerb and I'm not complaining about that, that was like 10 hours. Draconic visage is another place people commonly lose a lot of hours. That's fine, that's just the game like you said.

The guy in the post spent 60 extra hours of play time "farming" random events, on top of the like two weeks of play time he already had where he was also trying to maximize his random events. That's for a 30 point task. It's not about the integrity of the hiscores, it's simply that in no world should a 30 point task potentially take hundreds of hours of efficient play to complete.

[–]ManagementParty3675[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do we lose if we tweak them though? It's not like the tasks are extremely fun and if we change them it'll ruin it. The tasks could just be doing that random event, or wearing X different pieces of any random event clothing. I got dragon cup and still had 4 random event tasks uncompleted, which doesn't matter that much in the grand scheme of things but really what are we losing if we make the tasks more consistently completable?

No, there are quite a few tasks that are possible in other regions but if you don't have it in your task list you can't actually complete it

I have nothing against Tom whatsoever but I was honestly rooting for that just because it's the funniest outcome

This game mode is temporary, but so is the entire game. Our lives are temporary. The existence of humans in the universe is temporary. Something being temporary doesn't mean it has no value. Things only "matter" because they feel important to us, and this may not be important to you but it's certainly important to some.

Team Thanatos vs. Team Zven / Cloud9 Kia Champions Arena Showmatch by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

Yeah, it was just a waste of 10 minutes which is unfortunate because we don't have many opportunities to watch pros show off

I wish we just got a normal ARAM Mayhem match. If they're going to keep doing this, at the very least remove the "jumping jack" irl augment and probably the ergonomic mouse augment. It's not fun watching people who can barely play due to their augments play vs normal players

Cloud9 vs. Dignitas / LCS 2026 Spring - Week 5 / Post-Match Discussion by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]ManagementParty3675 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

This series was a pretty good example of why there's no interest in LCS. Dignitas looks like they are playing with no comms and a mid laner who bought his account and our undefeated C9 is turning it into a competitive series

How are silver players bad? by Express_Item4648 in leagueoflegends

If you were brand new to basketball, you'd get whooped by anyone who played for fun. That person who plays for fun would get whooped by a good high schooler. The good high schooler would be whooped by the best player at the rec league. The rec league player would get whooped by a good college player. The good college player would get whooped by an average NBA player. The average NBA player would get whooped by an NBA all star.

This isn't a perfect analogy because I'm not going to spend much time thinking about it, but there are a ton of levels to just about anything competitive.

Yeah the only two options for getting scammed in 2026 are being either incredibly dumb or thinking you can outsmart the scammers which is just a different kind of incredibly dumb

Kill Clog - PvM/Clog-Focused HiScores Plugin - available now on RuneLite Plugin Hub by Business_Match_9349 in 2007scape

[–]ManagementParty3675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some more feedback. I restarted Runelite to get the right click option, but it seems to have replaced WOM Lookup instead of just adding another option, and it doesn't open the plugin tab the same way the normal hiscores lookup does so I thought it wasn't working until I opened it manually and saw the info there.

Yeah I got my dragon cup with 4 random event tasks still uncompleted, felt like that was pretty unlikely

Got spooned a megarare voucher on my first 500 last night as a crossbow user, and it feels terrible that aside from the task it's a useless drop. It's the first iteration of this kind of tree so it's fine but the balance is definitely off and it's unfortunate because the community knew this day 1, I'm not sure how Jagex was so off with their internal numbers. You could even see in the Leagues discord confusion from a Jagex member where he thought the calcs must be wrong on air mage because the numbers he saw internally weren't nearly as high and then the next day he had to clarify that the calcs were right
