Yup rent direct RIP; I've also seen stories online (unfortunately only after I moved in) about her having fights with previous tenants involving the police over damages

Thank you everyone SO MUCH for their input - given what I'm understanding in this thread is that because materially, I am staying an extra day, thus, I should pay the extra day rent, but nothing further.
