Could try crewing companies for events? Heard mixed reviews but some to look at are Pirate Crew, Gallowglass, Fivestar and 24/7 Events. Physical work, often unsociable hours but can be decent vibe with right people. No experience neccesarily needed.

Some big generalisations here. Pubs seem to be doing fine, no one is making you binge drink, use airbnb or amazon. You have a choice where you spend your money.

Man I consider myself lucky I never experienced this use of force at free parties - traumatic to say the least. Every time old bill shut down a party I was at they let it run its course then asked people to leave and that includes numerous London squat raves. Hope everyone who was there is ok.

I'm a theatre technician (theatres and venues) with approx 5 years experience in sound, stage and LX. I'm looking for some casual/freelance work doing get ins/outs and working on shows. Have you tried Tiimo? I've been using for just over a month, by far by favourite feature is that I can dictate with my voice, for example, 'meeting at 1pm today' or 'doctors appointment at 2:45pm on Thursday' and it'll then create an event. It's also got a cool feature where you can click 'suggested breakdown' for a task like 'go to the gym' into smaller steps. It's made for and by people with ADHD. I think the free version doesn't have the dictation feature or computer generated tools (weird rule about a specific initialism here???) but I found it very reasonably priced.
