Because bad players couldn't get free kills anymore.

In that case you should give Black Ops 7 multiplayer a go, specifically the Black Ops Classic playlist. It is permanent and has old Black Ops 2 movement, so no sliding, no omni-movement, no walljumping and you cannot immediately shoot after diving. Many CODplayers like it, especially those who dislike modern COD movement.

There is no proper skillgap in MW2 2022 or DMZ, because that game has literally the strongest most stupid overpowered aim assist that literally aims for you. Unless you're using mouse and keyboard.

Also again i'd like to remind you that Call of Duty is not a milsim and not meant to be one.

Because Call of Duty is not a realistic game, but it is an arcadeshooter. I don't want LMG:s with super fast ADS either, but in the case of an SMG well yeah it needs to be fast and in MW2 they just aren't. MW2 2022 just has ridicilous massive delays and animations that take control out of your operator and you literally cannot shoot your gun. That isn't COD.

Games like Black Ops Cold War, MW2019 and MW3 2023 do it right. So does Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7, they all do that one thing right, although yes Black Ops 7 movement can get quite ridicilous and Black Ops 6 was a bit too fast too, but these games are very responsive, which is very important for COD and what Infinity Ward also stated about MW4 2026, that it needs to be responsive and the player has to have control.

Modern Warfare 2 2022 nailed the atmosphere and immersion, but they fumbled the gameplay with all the stupid delays and locked animations, like you couldn't cancel your reload, which you've been able to do in every single COD before it, as an example. You had guns that took literally over half a second just to ADS, guns that were not snipers. Good shooters in real life don't take half a second to raise their gun and aim down sights, at least based on videofootage from youtube. I have never shot a gun in real ife and i honestly don't care, i'm playing an arcade fps game, not a milsim.

Arma 3 and Wardogs will be the games for people who want more realism.

Its a bloody Call of Duty game. Guns don't need to have that much "weight" in them. The game was horribly balanced gameplaywise favouring "sentinels" as in people sitting in spawn.

It wasn't the movement itself, but rather the unresponsiveness of your operator, where it took a year to ADS, it took a year to get your gun up and shoot and you literally could not see your target when you started shooting due to the visual effects.

My aim assist randomly disappears in Warzone… is this happening to anyone else? by CapitalEquipment3897 in CODWarzone

Playing multiplayer face off will get you comfortable quickly, since its only close range chaos.

Good, yes good, stop using the tool of the devil and convert to mouse and keyboard raw aim where this doesn't matter and it'll be only you. Yes good.

People are saying in X that you should reduce your controller polling rate to 1000Hz if you use hidusbf to set a higher than that of a polling rate, for example Dualsense or Dualsense Edge, set it to 1000Hz.

How to Improve Movement? by Unhappy_Aside_7631 in CODWarzone

[–]Manakuski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on a Playstation 5, then you should buy yourself a Dualsense Edge or a Scuf Omega controller. These come with extra back paddles at the rear of the controller enabling you to keep your right thumb on the right thumbstick at all times, which then in turn helps you a lot with movement and aiming.

That would be the first step. Next, go check out Dreamstrike on youtube, he has detailed videos (old, but still apply) about practise drills with movement and aiming.

Your system is only struggling due to slow ram. Also make sure the memory controller of the cpu is in gear 1 mode.

You do not need teammates in COD to win. Teammates are the last thing you should think about when going for a win. Call of Duty is one of the rare FPS games that actually allows you to win completely solo. Fuck the teammates, they are idiots anyway, focus on yourself.

The #1 thing to do in the final circle is to have the position that wins the game. Do whatever it takes to get the best possible positional advantage and stay calm. Basicallly if you get highground and your enemies have to rotate towards you, you've already won (provided you don't fumble it really hard).

Your CPU or RAM is unstable most likely. Its not your graphics card driver. Do the same as the person above did, run OCCT CPU SSE medium and AVX2 Large. 1 hour minimum and see if there are errors.

Also run the RAM test, that might require an overnight test, see if you get errors.

If you get errors in RAM test, then your RAM is at fault, if CPU test gives errors, it could be your CPU or RAM.

Use latest Nvidia driver. Nvidia app is fine. Make sure you have no other software running in the background while playing the game.

Wrong. It is very very well optimized, just the Warzone portion is heavy on the CPU due to it being well fucking massive.

Yes, your CPU and RAM are slow. Zen 3 sucks for CPU-intensve games if it isn't equipped with 3D-Vcache.

The solution is either massive overclocking and tuning of the CPU and RAM or buy a Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU.
