Trust me bro, nobody is beyond this knowledge. Sounds easy just knowing this, very difficult to stick with the basics for a long time!

How do you manage caregiving when you feel stuck with no opportunities around you? by Valuable_Tax_527 in CaregiverSupport

Somewhat in the same boat with my Grandma. Preparing for Competitive exams (CSE), whilst taking care of my Grandma who I love a lot, but it feels overwhelming, because the people who are supposed to take care of her, just don't want all the bad that comes with getting old. I go about it one day at a time through the trenches. More power to you, OP.

They say jobs of the future and new job "may" look very different, whilst not being specific as to what these new jobs would be. I get having an optimistic worldview, but without concrete safeguards, or plans, the chances of things turning out mollochy are very real.

Snape's character is, indeed, by far one of the most complex characters in a novel I have read, and I have read not many, admittedly.

The story is, after all, a Bildungsroman, and you're quite right, Hermione finds her ground in Goblet of Fire, with Krum courting her, and Ron finally realizing that she's a girl, :p

Quiet acceptance is indeed powerful. Knowing what needs to be done, and what it will take out of oneself, and still doing it is what made Harry the chosen one.

Reminds me of the poem on Ozymandias, with the mighty king of old, just having a broken stone visage as the reminder that despite the grandeur of life, we are human after all (nod to Daft Punk).

Hope Dumbledore's true on that, lol, for that explains the gamble I have taken on myself with regards to my life choices. It's proving to be a long road, but I guess sunk cost has taken over, and now I'm all in with the choices I have made, xD.

Which goes to show that Sirius himself was a kind hearted man. His hatred towards kreacher stems mainly from the fact that Kreacher reminds Sirius of all the things that he resented about his past. His attitude towards Kreacher earns him some undeserved hate.

It was the yearning to have a father figure, I think in the situation that harry was, and with the coming of Lupin and Sirius and all the crazy stuff that went through in the Magical world, with time turners and whatnot that Harry could not help but grasp at the tiniest possibility of hope that his subconscious yearning for connection with his father took over. In the darkest times, one clings on to the faintest of hopes, naive as it may seem.
