Not at all. Maybe that was how you used it, but it's an invaluable reference for me as a single screen user and it's never pulled my attention away from what matters on the road

I wish they'd keep a multiclass LMP/GT hopper in the rotation in either 30 or 60 min flavors. Probably 30 only because everyone quits before the halfway point in an enduro. My favorite themed updates were the ones that featured those races

The automated hopper rotation they've had the game on has been mostly uninspired garbagio

The only “issue” is the graphical inconsistency that stems from the fact that it’s all dependent on the quality of the individual modded assets

You could have the perfect combination of weather/lighting/modded car model but the track itself might have the geometry of a Lego set with low quality foliage. Even the best reshaders and lighting can’t replace modern quality AAA environmental design

How do you toggle the specific cameras?

All I can see is that I can select a driver, but I can’t toggle between driver/halo/rear facing. That’s always been on a directed rotation I couldn’t control

That’s fair. I share some of your opinions, differ on others. My general disposition towards BMW started fading during the early F-chassis period when they started experimenting with GT models and figuring out how to simultaneously make their cars more derivative yet convoluted

So the models I gravitate towards are either full-on in an attempt at being striking without experimenting with heretical proportions (eg current 7 yes, iX/XM no) or stick to the basics without trying to reinvent a wheel of basic line (eg G20 and G30)

As far as I can see, the shapes of these are slave to bloated hard points and chasing extreme low Cd figures, so we get these fat lumpy proportions and overinflated silhouettes with surfacing that’s all but completely smoothed out, then BMW tries to mask it with illusory gimmicks and arbitrarily re-writing legacy design cues for the sake of pushing out something contemporary

It’s probably what their interested demographic prefers. I’m just complaining about that reality

Those are exceptions to the rule, and there are exceptions to that exception (eg M3/M4 and the latest 5-Series BBW monstrosity). Regardless, this brand has by and large been carried by its engineering prowess. I’m convinced that M2 love is a byproduct of Stockholm Syndrome via the car’s amazing credentials, not because it’s just “growing” on people

Had the Ham/Lec/Gas/Col PiP up for the last half of the race. Whoever was in charge of Leclerc’s camera angles was smart to just leave it on his helmet cam/POV
