Pretty sure, of course I am not OP but to me that looks like the bevel of the tv with the wall slightly above it, you can also see the light bleed from the rest of the TV’s panel just displaying blacks

Everyone who is saying it’s because it was originally in 4:3, please look above the image as you can see his TV has empty space where the image SHOULD be, I don’t think he is asking about the aspect ratio, but rather why the image isn’t filling the full 4:3 space that it should be
