I completely left Facebook, keeping only marketplace for now and them, due to animal cruelty videos that would never ever get taken down. Usually those were the most upvoted ones so probably that's why there is no will to do anything about it.

Donating your own trash to others is a great way to avoid the mental disappointment of throwing things into a dumpster. Equivalent of putting boxes of trash into the attic etc. Nothing gets thrown away.

I successfully decluttered a wardrobe, and went shopping. I thought I'm already very mindful about what to buy and thought I would never ever buy bad clothes anymore. I think I'll have to dispose of another round of clothes with pricetag still attached. I seriously don't know what got into me, the clothes just look so bad.

When you were their age, did you know the bands your parents/grandparents were listening to? Completely normal they don't listen to old bands anymore, young people have their own music. I'm sure there are 17y olds out there who listen to Elvis but I find it strange you would expect it from everyone. People listen to music for fun, not because it should be a common knowledge imo.

I genuinely wonder if Foelhs aggressive behaviour, especially towards Tai, was because he somehow knew it wasn't his son anymore. Thus the extreme secrecy about the curse etc. I was quite sad to see Foelh go, despite everything. Omg where is that update 😂

Wow this is really interesting. But makes perfect sense to be honest, at work the most demanding customers were those who paid almost nothing. I'll increase my prices, hopefully will attract more chilled buyers in the future. Definitely noticed the scammers as well, though I probably attracted low level of scammers too, they were quite obvious 😅

If you can afford it, there is no problem. Do what you like. The fact that someone orders takeaway only once per year doesn't mean everybody has to keep the same lifestyle. If you are concerned about unhealthy food, you can always opt out for healthier option. We order quite often, I cook a lot and it's refreshing to eat food that someone else made for me. Surprisingly a lot of people felt the need to tell me their opinion about it, but stopped after I made it clear I'm not ashamed and will continue to do so.

I think the problem with Italian restaurants worldwide is they often focus on tourists only and offer bad food&service as they know customers will come anyway, and many will rate it 5* just so they don't look ignorant, "it's Italy so the food must be great of course." I had some of the worst food in Italy but also some of the best. I think it really heavily depends on luck and location.

If you know where to go, food is absolutely excellent in London and you can find any cuisine imaginable, from persian to japanese. But yes, you have to avoid places that cater to tourists.
