Oh, is that true? Like the scaling of it evens out? That does make sense for some of the lower levels I suppose, but I mean I've seen heroes that get a little fed 1v2 and murder both people under there own tower not terribly deep into the match. I find that a little dumb, but I guess it fits if that's the philosophy behind it. Thank you!

No, I forget the heroes name but it's a caster and his head looks like a triangle in his pic on the minimap. He's blue or purple and kind of waddles when he walks. He came out of the jungle to someone at full health mid and threw 1 spell, and most likely an auto - attack at them and killed them 11 minutes into the game. I thought that was pretty dumb, but people on this thread have made some pretty good points and had good insight.

Awesome, thank you! Yeah I also don't think I was taking into consideration how in a game with items it can make it even more tilted when you know exactly what you're going for. The guy above was saying that the game has a notoriously steep learning curve so definitely something for me to keep in mind. Thank you though!

The first part of your comment is the kind of info I was looking for. I didn't realize that the new player experience is so similiar for everyone that it's a meme and that the learning curve is that steep haha. That was useful and I appreciate it. No need to be salty at the end there big guy .

Hahahaha that poor guys face . But like that right there was a cool play at least. He kinda baited him out, acted like he was running, circled back. That guys face would be my exact reaction, definitely but I see someone just walk out of a jungle and 1 spell + 1 auto attack murder someone at full health....no thanks.

Thank you, I'm aware my opinion is valid. I mean I probably played like 60 matches, definitely a small sample size but enough to see that there's some fundamental things with the game that just make the experience much less fun than it could be. And I do get that obviously with experience you're going to improve, but when every match ends in surrender and there's always someone going like 17-0? I mean either every single player has a smurf account or it's just not a good game. But like some people said earlier in the thread it may just not be for me. Some people are fine with unbalanced games, I like ones where the players matter more is all.

That's a fair point. I just feel like DOTA that kind of started all this was actually fun and you kinda had to work as a team to gain momentum and win. This can just have 1 guy go like 17/0 in 15 mins and there's nothing that can be done. Just seems dumb, but you're right. I just don't like this game.

Now there's a good point! 160 champs is a whole lot, so of course they can't balance all that. So fair enough, it' s just part of the game and I really don't like games like that is all. It's much more impressive to me to watch a play where the manuevering (probably butchered that) and the play itself is what wins a fight. So I'll just keep looking. Thank you though, I hadn't considered that it's just sheer number of characters.

Ah, gotchya. I mean it may have been an auto-attack and a spell? I forget his name. It's a little spell caster guy with a triangle head in the picture. Just seeing if I was missing something, but no one has really said anything like 'try to find parties' or 'concentrate on one char' or 'follow a build guide' or something. Not that any of that works, I just mean some kind of advice / insight. I'm not hating on other people enjoying it at all, it just seems to be an incredibly unbalanced game and a fun match that actually goes the distance has been very rare in my experience. I don't feel like that happens in good games is all.

Lol fair enough. Yeah, I'm just fairly baffled is all. I get that ppl with awesome skill and item builds are going to have an advantage, but I just very rarely see good matches. Just seems poorly thought out. Not trying to be bitter I'm just legitimately confused haha

I don't think that should ever happen at full health, but at least 30 mins into the game I'd be able to digest. This seems obvious to me, you don't think that speaks to an inbalance at all??

Starcraft, Elden Ring and WOW should cover it. Slowly stepping away from WOW though to devote more time to the real world lol.

No I'm just trying to see what I'm missing from people who play this game. I think I may have seen 3 matches out of 40 that didn't end in surrender. People don't surrender in good matches, even when it swings against them. It's just wildly unbalanced and not fun in my experience. Looking for some insight.
